    Advice: Contreras had to leave Tuesday's contest in the second inning after his arm was struck by a J.D. Martinez swing. He will almost certainly spend an extended period of time on the injured list, leaving Ivan Herrera as the Cardinals' new primary catcher. The 31-year-old backstop is facing a lengthy absence, which is a significant loss for the Cardinals, and fantasy managers as well. He topped out at 97 mph on his fastball and threw 39 pitches in his rehab debut. The 24-year-old righty is expected to be an option for Tampa Bay’s starting rotation at some point this summer, but remains without a definitive return target date as he continues to work his way back from Tommy John surgery.
