      Jhoan Duran blew a save while allowing two runs and also picked up a loss to the A’s on Friday.

      Advice: Duran has lost three games in 2024, but this was technically his first blown save of the year. The right-hander came in during the eighth, but gave up a hit to Daz Cameron and then a two-run blast to Shea Langeliers.       Abrams (wrist) went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, an RBI, a stolen base and a walk in Friday's win over the Rockies.

      Advice: Abrams returned to the lineup after missing the previous two games and wasted no time making an impact, ripping a double on the first pitch of the game. He knocked an RBI double later in the game. The 23-year-old shortstop is heating up again; he's gone 13-for-28 (.464) with six extra-base hits over his last eight games. In 12 games prior to that, he posted a .510 OPS with no multi-hit performances. Abrams is slashing .267/.320/.487 on the year with 33 extra-base hits and 11 steals.     • Fernando Tatis Jr. leaves game after hit by pitch
      Fernando Tatis Jr. was pulled from Friday night’s battle against the Brewers after he was hit by a pitch on his left elbow.

      Advice: The 25-year-old superstar remained in the game to run the bass for himself and even played another couple of innings in the field, but he was ultimately lifted for a pinch-hitter the next time that his spot came around in the Padres’ lineup.       Trea Turner went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday.

      Advice: Turner has hit safely in all three games since returning from his hamstring injury yet this home run was his first extra-base hit. He smacked it 110.6 MPH off the bat, two MPH harder than he’s hit a ball all season.       Turner went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday.

      Advice: Turner hit a two-run home run off Jordan Montgomery in the third inning then added an RBI single with the bases loaded in the seventh. Turner has gone 5-for-14 since returning from a hamstring injury, and the homer was his first since April 17.       CJ Abrams (wrist) returned to the Nationals’ starting lineup on Friday night.

      Advice: The 23-year-old shortstop had missed the team’s previous two games due to a Ganglion cyst near his left wrist. He feels good enough to give it a go on Friday night though and will return to his customary leadoff spot in the lineup against Dakota Hudson and the Rockies at Coors Field on Friday evening.       Martinez went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 11-1 victory over the Cubs.

      Advice: Martinez opened the scoring with a three-run home run off Shota Imanaga in the first inning, and he then added an RBI single in the fourth. Martinez went 1-for-10 in a quiet series against the Rangers earlier this week but continued a nice June, as he's now hitting .297 with four home runs and 17 RBI in 64 at-bats.
