    • Idle Saturday
Tatis (triceps) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Milwaukee.

Advice: Tatis was hit by a pitch during Friday's game and was lifted from the contest. He'll remain on the bench to begin Saturday's game and is dealing with a bruised triceps. David Peralta will bat sixth and play right field. Rotowire.com Today, 1:16 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps) held out of lineup
Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps) was held out of the Padres’ starting lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Brewers.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar was plunked on the left triceps with a pitch during Friday night’s affair against the Brewers. He walked away with only a contusion, but it sounds like he’ll need a day or two before he’s ready to return to the starting lineup. David Peralta will start in his place in right field and bat sixth for the Padres against Carlos Rodriguez and the Brewers. Rotoworld Today, 1:10 pm

    • Homers twice in win
Candelario went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Friday's 5-2 win over Boston.

Advice: Candelario had been battling tendinitis in the back of his right knee, per Mark Sheldon of MLB.com, but he was ready to go Friday with the help of the Reds' training staff. The knee didn't cool off Candelario's scoring bat. He homered in his first two plate appearances -- the second two-HR game this month -- and is batting .347/.351/.736 over 18 games in June. • Jeimer Candelario homers twice to lead Reds
Jeimer Candelario launched a pair of solo homers in leading the Reds to a 5-2 win over the Red Sox on Friday.

Advice: Remember when Candelario was having a bad season? He’s hit eight homers, knocked in 17 runs and even stolen three bases this month to push his season line up to .255/.310/.506. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:41 pm

    • Cal Raleigh slips below Mendoza Line in loss
Cal Raleigh went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts against the Marlins on Friday.

Advice: Raleigh often seems to come up with the big hit, but the little hit has been a problem this year, as he’s batted just .198/.276/.380 in 272 plate appearances. The Mariners aren’t going to change much about his usage, but maybe they’ll give him the occasional extra day off and roll with Mitch Garver behind the plate. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:56 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. day-to-day with triceps contusion
Fernando Tatis Jr. is day-to-day with a left triceps contusion, the Padres announced.

Advice: Tatis left Friday’s game after he was in the elbow by a pitch. If he can’t play Saturday, then José Azocar will probably play right field. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:32 pm

    • Dealing with contusion
Tatis left Friday's game with a left triceps contusion, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Tatis exited the game two innings after being hit on the arm by a pitch. He appears to have avoided serious injury, though it's unclear whether imaging has already occurred, or if it will be required. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Reaches base four times
Abrams (wrist) went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, an RBI, a stolen base and a walk in Friday's win over the Rockies.

Advice: Abrams returned to the lineup after missing the previous two games and wasted no time making an impact, ripping a double on the first pitch of the game. He knocked an RBI double later in the game. The 23-year-old shortstop is heating up again; he's gone 13-for-28 (.464) with six extra-base hits over his last eight games. In 12 games prior to that, he posted a .510 OPS with no multi-hit performances. Abrams is slashing .267/.320/.487 on the year with 33 extra-base hits and 11 steals. • Fernando Tatis Jr. leaves game after hit by pitch
Fernando Tatis Jr. was pulled from Friday night’s battle against the Brewers after he was hit by a pitch on his left elbow.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar remained in the game to run the bass for himself and even played another couple of innings in the field, but he was ultimately lifted for a pinch-hitter the next time that his spot came around in the Padres’ lineup. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to rule out any potential fractures. Stay tuned, as the Padres should have an update on his status after the game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:26 pm
