    • Accounts for offense in loss
Henderson went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Henderson has homered in four straight games and continues to lead the majors with 16 long balls. The shortstop's sixth-inning blast off Sonny Gray was all the runs the Orioles could muster Monday. Henderson stumbled a bit in the middle of May, but he's quickly returned to form and is now sporting a .271/.351/.610 slash line with 34 RBI, 35 runs scored and seven stolen bases over 45 contests. • Henderson blasts 16th home run Monday
Gunnar Henderson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Cardinals on Monday.

Advice: Henderson accounted for all the Orioles’ runs on the night. He blasted his league-leading 16th home run in the sixth inning off Sonny Gray, who hadn’t allowed a single hit at that point in the game. The 22-year-old is up to .271 with a .961 OPS and 34 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:56 pm

    • Ceddanne Rafaela goes deep in win over Rays
Ceddanne Rafaela belted a two-run homer on Monday in the Red Sox’ win over the Rays.

Advice: Rafaela took Rays starter Taj Bradley deep for a two-run shot -- his fifth long ball of the season -- in the fifth inning to give Boston a commanding five-run lead at the time. It was his second round-tripper in his last six contests. The 23-year-old rookie doesn’t offer a ton of over-the-fence pop, but he’s easily going to reach double-digit homers and steals in his full-season debut. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:28 pm

    • Tigers undecided on when to activate Kenta Maeda
The Tigers have yet to make a decision on whether they’ll activate Kenta Maeda to start this week.

Advice: Maeda allowed one run and struck out six in three-plus innings for Triple-A Toledo in his rehab start Sunday. He’s expected to get another shot in the Detroit rotation, but the Tigers could ask him to make one more rehab start and use Matt Manning again this week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:06 pm

    • Goes three innings in rehab start
Maeda (illness) allowed one run and struck out six over three innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.

Advice: He threw 53 pitches in the outing. Maeda will throw a bullpen session either Tuesday or Wednesday, per Chris McCosky of The Detroit News, and a decision as to whether he'll require another rehab start has not yet been made. It's possible he could rejoin the Tigers' rotation as soon as Friday versus the Blue Jays, but more should be known about his status in the coming days. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:05 pm

    • Triples in two straight
Carroll went 1-for-4 with a triple, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Detroit. He was also caught stealing.

Advice: Carroll tripled to lead off the bottom of the first inning and scored the first of two Arizona runs during the frame. It was the second straight game with a triple for Carroll, who finished second in MLB last season with 10 three-baggers. He was moved back to the leadoff spot seven games ago, but it hasn't done much to break Carroll's season-long slump; he's 4-for-24 with three extra-base hits and five runs since the move and has been caught stealing twice. • Extends, ends streak
Marte went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Detroit.

Advice: Marte extended a hit streak to 18 games with a second-inning single. His single two innings later ended another streak: the switch hitter entered Sunday's contest with exactly one hit in 15 consecutive games. It seems counter-intuitive, but Marte's batting average has actually dropped during the streak, from .307 to .292. It should be noted he's done more than just hit singles during the run; Marte has four doubles, two triples, four home runs, 11 RBI and 10 runs scored over those 18 games. • Keeps mashing Sunday
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Henderson is on a tear with five homers and seven RBI over his last nine games. His blast Sunday was another leadoff homer against Mariners starter George Kirby. Henderson is leading the majors with 15 long balls to go with seven steals, 31 RBI, 34 runs scored, four doubles, four triples and a .270/.348/.598 slash line over 44 contests. His steal Sunday was his first since April 27. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:25 pm

    • Locks down eighth save
Doval struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Doval extended his scoreless streak to 4.1 innings. He needed 17 pitches (10 strikes) Sunday, but he was able to emerge with his eighth save in as many chances this season. The closer has a 3.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 24:12 K:BB over 18 innings and has also posted a 2-0 record this season. The Giants haven't generated a ton of save opportunities, but Doval has been strong when called upon. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:04 pm
