    • Idle against lefty again
Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Lowe will remain on the bench for the second day in a row while the Rangers oppose another left-handed starter (Trevor Rogers). The Rangers will turn to Ezequiel Duran to replace Lowe at first base. Rotowire.com 41 minutes ago
    • Joining Sunday's lineup
Adames is starting at shortstop and batting cleanup Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: Both Adames and William Contreras were scheduled to receive their first days off of the season Sunday, but they were apparently able to lobby their way into the starting nine. Over the past 11 games, Adames is hitting .372 with six doubles, two homers, 13 RBI and seven runs. Rotowire.com 51 minutes ago

    • Adames, Contreras inserted back into lineup
Willy Adames is hitting fourth and playing shortstop Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: Both Adames and William Contreras were originally scheduled to get their first day off of the season. Nope. The new lineup has Adames in his usual spot at shortstop, and Contreras is hitting second and catching. Kinda weird, but it keeps the streak going for both. Andruw Monasterio and Oliver Dunn were scratched from the lineup, but this does not appear to be injury related. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago

    • Report: Royce Lewis likely back off IL Tuesday
Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports that Royce Lewis (quad) is likely to be activated off the injured list Tuesday.

Advice: Lewis is going to play third base Sunday during his rehab assignment for Triple-A St. Paul. The 24-year-old will then have a chance to return to the Minnesota lineup as long as everything goes well in that outing. Lewis has significant fantasy upside, and if he’s still on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues, he’s well worth roster consideration. Just keep in mind that injuries have been a major part of his storyline the last few seasons. Rotoworld Today, 9:59 am

    • Jose Altuve gets Sunday off against Twins
Jose Altuve is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Altuve will get a rare day off for the series finale against the Twins. He’ll take a seat with Mauricio Dubon hitting sixth and playing second base. Kyle Tucker is leading off as the designated hitter, with Chas McCormick getting the start in right field. Rotoworld Today, 9:46 am

    • Expected back Tuesday
The Twins are expected to reinstate Lewis (quadricep) from the injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener versus the Yankees, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Lewis has been on the shelf since suffering a right quad strain in the Twins' March 28 season opener, but the standout infielder looks to be on the cusp of rejoining the big club. He began a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul on May 25 and has thus far made five starts in the minors, going 3-for-19 with a double, a stolen base and two runs. According to Park, Lewis is scheduled to start at third base for St. Paul in Sunday's game against Rochester, and if all goes well, the 24-year-old should get the green light to return from the IL. Once Lewis is activated, he'll likely take over as the Twins' everyday third baseman, pushing Jose Miranda into a bench role. Rotowire.com Today, 9:27 am

    • Getting afternoon off
Altuve is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Altuve is on the bench for just the second time all season and the first time since May 12 in what looks to be nothing more than a routine maintenance day. Mauricio Dubon will step in at second base for Altuve, who is currently in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak. Rotowire.com Today, 9:20 am

    • Adames, Contreras both get first day of season off
Willy Adames is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: For the first time all season, Adames will get day off. This is also true for William Contreras, as the catcher/backstop is getting a chance to enjoy a game from the bench for the first time. In Adames’ place, the Brewers will give a start at shortstop to Joey Ortiz, while Andruw Monastario is the starting designated hitter with Gary Sanchez behind the plate. • Receiving first day off
Adames is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Adames started the first 58 games of the season at shortstop for the Brewers but will take a seat for Sunday's series finale versus Chicago. The 28-year-old has carried a hot bat over the past 11 contests with two homers, 13 RBI and a 1.100 OPS in 43 at-bats. Joey Ortiz will shift to shortstop while Oliver Dunn receives a start at third base. Rotowire.com Today, 8:48 am
