      Abbott (5-6) took the loss against Milwaukee on Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three batters over five innings.

      Advice: Abbott navigated around a stream of baserunners to keep the Brewers off the scoreboard for four frames, but he put himself in quick danger by walking the first two batters in the fifth. That came back to hurt him in a big way when Joey Ortiz hit a changeup for a three-run homer, accounting for all the runs Abbott surrendered in the outing. It was the southpaw's second straight start of five frames after he went at least six innings in four consecutive outings between May 15 and June 3. Abbott has fared decently well this season with a 3.42 ERA and 1.20 WHIP, though his 60:25 K:B over 79 frames doesn't help his fantasy stock. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

      Joey Ortiz went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a win over the Reds on Saturday.

      Advice: Ortiz has now started two straight games since battling a hamstring injury and looks to be back in his everyday role in Milwaukee. Despite being the least-heralded player in this offseason’s Corbin Burnes trade, Ortiz is proving to be quite an asset for the Brewers with six home runs and 27 RBI to go along with a .281/.381/.472 slash line in 61 games.       Sandoval did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Giants, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

      Advice: Sandoval surrendered a two-run home run to Heliot Ramos in a 31-pitch first inning then allowed a run on a double by Ramos in the fifth. Sandoval left the game after five frames with a 3-1 deficit before Logan O'Hoppe tied the game on a homer in the sixth. Sandoval has alternated good starts with bad starts throughout most of the season and now owns a 5.24 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 80:33 K:BB in 15 outings.       Advice: It’s been quite a month for Candelario, who is now 20-for-56 (.357) with six home runs and 14 RBI in 13 games in June. The 30-year-old will remain a fixture in the Reds’ lineup, even when Noelvi Marte returns, and is looking to continue the progress he showed last year with the Nationals and Cubs.       Tyler O’Neill went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored and an RBI in Saturday night’s 8-4 victory over the Yankees.

      Advice: O’Neill opened the scoring in the home half of the first inning with a one-out double off of the Green Monster that plated Jarren Duran from second base. O’Neill then raced around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Connor Wong. The 28-year-old slugger also singled in the second inning and scored on a two-run double by Rafael Devers. He then drove in a run of his own with an RBI single in the eighth inning and scored on an errant pickoff throw.       Kenley Jansen picked up his 11th save of the season on Saturday night, recording the final four outs against the Yankees.

      Advice: Jansen came on to put out a fire in the eighth inning with two men on and two outs with the Red Sox clinging to a two-run advantage. He got Anthony Volpe to fly out to right field to end the threat — then returned to work a perfect ninth inning to close it out. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning on a two-run single off the bat of DJ LeMahieu. Criswell got nine whiffs on 88 pitches on the night, registering a strong CSW of 33 percent.       Megill notched a save against the Reds on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk in one inning.

      Advice: A trio of Milwaukee pitchers combined to shut out Cincinnati over eight innings before the ball was handed to Megill for the ninth. The right-hander didn't make things easy, issuing a walk and a run-scoring double before getting his first out, but he was ultimately able to slam the door for the save. Megill has been great in his first venture as a closer this season, going 12-for-13 in save tries while posting a 2.25 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB over 20 innings. He appears to have a firm grasp on ninth-inning duties for the Brewers, at least until Devin Williams (back) is able to return from the injured list, potentially in the latter half of July.
