    • Charlie Morton gives up five runs in loss to Yanks
Charlie Morton struggled in a losing effort against the Yankees on Saturday night, giving up five runs on five hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 40-year-old hurler also issued five free passes on the night while striking out four opposing batters. Morton served up a two-run homer to Aaron Judge in the opening inning, then the Yankees scratched out single runs in the third and fourth innings before chasing Morton while scoring a run in the sixth. Morton generated 11 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the night — nine of them on his curveball — while posting a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll attempt to bounce back and improve upon his 4.20 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and an 80/35 K/BB ratio (79 1/3 innings) when he squares off against the White Sox in Chicago on Thursday. • Brice Turang slugs grand slam in loss to Padres
Brice Turang singled twice, drew a walk and belted a grand slam on Saturday night as the Brewers were thwarted by the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk but was gunned down by Kyle Higashioka while attempting to steal second base. He then singled to center in the third inning and was once again cut down trying to nab second base. Turang had been caught stealing just twice all season entering play on Saturday. He then prevented a shut out with a two-out grand slam off of Jhony Brito in the ninth inning that pulled the Brewers to within two runs at 6-4. With his three-hit effort, the 24-year-old infielder is now hitting .296/.360/.416 with five homers, 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases in 30 attempts on the season. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago

    • Yordan Alvarez homers as Astros top Orioles
Yordan Alvarez hit a two-run homer to help the Astros defeat the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Alvarez hit his 16th homer of the season when he connected on an offering from Corbin Burnes. The pair of RBI gives the 26-year-old slugger 41 on the season. Alvarez remains one of the best power threats in baseball and that’s not going to change any time soon. Rotoworld Today, 3:31 pm

    • Guarantees return Sunday
Profar (knee) is available off the bench Saturday against the Brewers and will "100 percent" be playing in Sunday's series finale, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Profar was removed from Friday's game with a left knee issue and was held out of the starting lineup Saturday. However, he'll be back in action Sunday and appears to have avoided significant injury. He's in the midst of a breakout campaign at the age of 31, slashing .320/.415/.483 with 10 home runs across 317 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 1:49 pm

    • Held out of starting lineup
Profar (knee) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Profar was removed for a pinch runner late in Friday's game due issues with his knee. Considering he's dealt with an injury to his left knee recently, his removal could be precautionary. However, Tyler Wade will fill left field Saturday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:19 pm

    • Idle Saturday
Tatis (triceps) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Milwaukee.

Advice: Tatis was hit by a pitch during Friday's game and was lifted from the contest. He'll remain on the bench to begin Saturday's game and is dealing with a bruised triceps. David Peralta will bat sixth and play right field. Rotowire.com Today, 1:16 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps) held out of lineup
Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps) was held out of the Padres’ starting lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Brewers.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar was plunked on the left triceps with a pitch during Friday night’s affair against the Brewers. He walked away with only a contusion, but it sounds like he’ll need a day or two before he’s ready to return to the starting lineup. David Peralta will start in his place in right field and bat sixth for the Padres against Carlos Rodriguez and the Brewers. Rotoworld Today, 1:10 pm

    • Jurickson Profar (knee) not in lineup on Saturday
Jurickson Profar (knee) is not in the Padres’ starting lineup for Saturday night’s matchup against the Brewers.

Advice: The 31-year-old outfielder aggravated his left knee injury during Friday’s battle against the Brewers. The good news is that he hasn’t been placed on the injured list. Profar has been playing through the knee issue for a while now and believes that he’ll be able to return to the lineup for Sunday’s series finale. He’s considered day-to-day. • Engaging in baseball activities
Bogaerts (shoulder) has been running the bases, taking light grounders and doing one-handed drills in the batting cage, per MLB.com.

Advice: Bogaerts broke his left shoulder while making a diving stop in the infield May 20 and remains on the 10-day IL. The veteran shortstop isn't likely to return until at least early July given that he has yet to take regular swings. When he does come back, Bogaerts indicated that he will adjust his swing to use a two-handed follow-through in order to protect his injured shoulder. He's undergoing regular imaging on the shoulder to determine when he'll be allowed to start ramping up further. Rotowire.com Today, 11:02 am
