      Massey (back) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday at Triple-A Omaha.

      Advice: On the shelf with a low back ligament sprain, Massey received an injection May 31 and appears to have responded favorably. He was cleared to resume baseball activities early last week and has checked out fine after steadily increasing the intensity of his hitting and running over the last several days. The Royals haven't determined how long Massey's rehab assignment will last, but he may only need two or three games with Omaha to get his timing back at the plate before potentially making his return from the 10-day injured list as soon as this weekend.       Advice: Judge had a bit of a quiet week, going a modest 6-for-25 (.240) with two homers and five RBI over six contests against the Royals and Red Sox. He also struck out nine times, including thrice in Sunday's game. It's likely just the natural ebb and flow of offense in a long season, as the outfielder is still leading the majors with 26 long balls while adding 64 RBI, 56 runs scored, five stolen bases and a .299/.425/.686 slash line over 73 contests.       Megill allowed a hit and a walk over a scoreless inning Sunday, striking out one and earning a save over the Reds.

      Advice: Megill ran into trouble and nearly blew the save, but Blake Perkins saved the day with a game-ending outfield assist. He's converted seven straight saves since blowing a chance against the Marlins on May 20 and is now 13 for 14 this season. Megill owns a 26:7 K:BB and a 2.14 ERA through 21 innings.       Advice: Vaughn participated in four of the White Sox's five runs, most of which came during the ninth inning when Vaughn plated Tommy Pham and Martin Maldonado with a single before coming around to score himself. On the year, Vaughn is slashing .234/.289/.391, each of which would be a career low. However, he's been hot during June, batting .364 with five homers, 12 RBI and 12 runs.       Aaron Judge clobbered his 26th home run of the season on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to power the Yankees to a victory over the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

      Advice: Judge opened the scoring in the contest with a titanic 380-foot (114.2 mph EV) solo shot over the Green Monster off of Kutter Crawford in the top half of the first inning. That lead would be short-lived though, and Judge would go down on strikes in each of his remaining three at-bats in the contest.       Jordan Montgomery looked sharp in Sunday’s victory over the White Sox, allowing just an unearned run on four hits over his five frames.

      Advice: Montgomery piled up seven strikeouts on the afternoon while issuing a pair of free passes. The lone tally against him came on an RBI groundout off the bat of Andrew Vaughn in the third inning — after a throwing error by Montgomery had allowed him to advance earlier in the inning. The 31-year-old southpaw got a whopping 18 swings and misses on 84 pitches in the game — 10 of those on his changeup alone — while posting a strong CSW of 36 percent.       Jose Altuve blasted a three-run homer in the second inning on Sunday, powering the Astros to a 4-1 victory over the Tigers in their series finale in Houston.

      Advice: The Astros scratched out a run in the opening inning as Altuve singled, took second on a wild pitch and raced around to score on a single off the bat of Yordan Alvarez. He then clobbered a game-changing 402-foot (101.9 mph EV) three-run shot off of Kenta Maeda with two outs in the second inning that proved to be the difference in the ballgame.
