• Pulled after four innings
Bibee did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Tigers, allowing four runs on five hits in four innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bibee looked sharp early Wednesday, allowing just one hit through his first three innings. However, things went south in the fourth, when Bibee allowed four runs on four hits. While Cleveland would ultimately rally for a win in extra innings, it was another disappointing start from Bibee -- he's now allowed 10 runs over nine innings in his last two outings. Overall, the 25-year-old right-hander is 2-1 with a 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB in eight starts (40.1 innings) this season. Bibee's currently slated for a tough road matchup against the Rangers early next week. Rotowire.com 18 minutes ago

  • Making another rehab start
Hendricks (back) will make another rehab start at Triple-A Iowa on Sunday, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: Hendricks made his first rehab start at Triple-A (second overall) on Tuesday, allowing one earned run in 4.1 innings while striking out six batters and walking three. He'll remain in the minors for another start, though there is no telling whether or not he'll be pulled off his assignment after Sunday's outing. If his next start does end up being his final appearance in the minors, Hendricks would be lined up to start May 17 against the Pirates. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

  • Daniel Hudson notches save Wednesday vs. Marlins
Daniel Hudson tossed a perfect ninth inning on Wednesday against the Marlins to record his second save of the season.

Advice: Hudson got the call to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and tossed a flawless frame on 12 pitches (10 strikes). It’s worth noting that both Blake Treinen and Alex Vesia might’ve been unavailable after pitching during Monday’s series opener. This was Hudson’s first outing since an ugly blown save last Friday against the Braves. It’ll presumably remain a closer by committee situation with Hudson, Treinen and Vesia splitting the ninth-inning duties until Evan Phillips is ready to return from the injured list at some point later this month. • Gavin Stone quiets Marlins to collect third win
Gavin Stone yielded one run over seven innings on Wednesday in a win over the Marlins.

Advice: Stone was excellent during Wednesday afternoon’s matinee at Dodger Stadium, limiting Miami’s floundering lineup to just a fourth-inning solo shot from Bryan De La Cruz over seven frames. He finished with four strikeouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. The 25-year-old former top pitching prospect has held his own this season in his first extended chance in the big leagues, compiling a respectable 3.55 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 27/13 K/BB ratio across 38 innings (seven starts). He’ll face the division-rival Giants on Tuesday his next time out. Rotoworld 33 minutes ago

  • Ryan Weathers coughs up three runs in loss
Ryan Weathers surrendered three runs over six innings on Wednesday in a loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Weathers was unable to solve lefty-masher Teoscar Hernández, who delivered a run-scoring single before tagging him for a two-run shot with two outs in the sixth inning. He finished with three strikeouts and only issued one walk. He’ll carry a serviceable 4.54 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 34/16 K/BB ratio across 41 2/3 innings (eight starts) into a road outing on Tuesday against the Tigers. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

  • Nursing back issue
Astros manager Joe Espada said Wednesday that Pressly is managing lower-back soreness but that it's "nothing worrisome right now," Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: The 35-year-old hasn't pitched since Friday due to the injury, and it's unclear if he'll be available for Wednesday's matchup with the Yankees. Pressly was able to play catch, so it doesn't appear as though he's in danger of needing a trip to the injured list. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago

  • Falls apart in fifth inning
Soriano didn't factor in the decision Wednesday against the Pirates after he gave up four runs on six hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: The right-hander blanked Pittsburgh through four frames but was unable to get through the fifth as he surrendered all four runs on three hits and two walks. Soriano has a 1-4 record but has pitched well at times this season with two quality starts, though he's also given up four runs in three of his seven outings. He has a 4.32 ERA and 32:17 K:BB across 33.1 innings and tentatively lines up to face the Cardinals early next week. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago

  • Mariners transfer Matt Brash to 60-day IL
Mariners transferred RHP Matt Brash to the 60-day injured list.

Advice: Nothing has changed in the prognosis for the 25-year-old right-hander, who has been shut down from throwing again due to renewed soreness in his elbow. This was done merely as a procedural move to free up a spot on the Mariners’ 40-man roster for Kirby Snead on Wednesday. Rotoworld 44 minutes ago

  • Solid again vs. Cleveland
Olson did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Guardians, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

Advice: It was another excellent outing from Olson though he was ultimately stuck with the no-decision, despite allowing just one hit, as the Tigers' bullpen couldn't protect a 4-2 lead. Olson is 0-4 on the year despite holding opponents to one earned run or fewer in five of his seven starts. He lowered his ERA to 2.52 with a 1.12 WHIP and 35:15 K:BB across 39.1 innings. Olson will hope for better luck in his next turn in the rotation, currently scheduled for early next week against Miami. Rotowire.com 45 minutes ago
