    Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-3 with a solo homer on Wednesday, propelling the Royals to a 6-4 victory over the Brewers.

    Advice: Witt reached base safely in three of his four plate appearances and wound up scoring half of Kansas City’s runs in this one. His eight-inning blast off Brewers reliever Joel Payamps was his fifth of the season and turned out to be an important insurance run as Milwaukee attempted to mount a late comeback in the ensuing frame.     Advice: Turang capped off a three-hit performance with a run-scoring double off Royals reliever Tyler Duffey in the ninth inning, but wound up being stranded in scoring position representing the potential tying run. The 24-year-old speedster has made the most of his opportunity this season, emerging as Milwaukee’s everyday second baseman, posting an .826 OPS with two homers and 14 steals through 34 contests so far.   • Brayan Rocchio delivers game-winner in 10th
    Brayan Rocchio went 2-for-4 with a game-winning hit in the bottom of the 10th as the Guardians defeated the Tigers 5-4 on Wednesday.

    Advice: The Guardians just needed one in the 10th, and they got it after a sac bunt to advance the runner to third. The single accounted for Rocchio’s fifth RBI in 120 plate appearances this season.     Advice: Espinal saw a streak of six consecutive starts come to an end in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Arizona, and before that, he enjoyed a stretch of 11 consecutive starts. He looks as though he could fall into regular playing time once again, as the Reds placed Christian Encarnacion-Strand (wrist) on the 10-day injured list Wednesday. Jeimer Candelario will move over from his usual spot at third base to cover Encarnacion-Strand's post at first base, opening up the hot corner for Espinal. Despite seeing plenty of usage in his utility role this season, Espinal has provided the Reds with underwhelming numbers (.169 average, one home run, four stolen bases, 12 RBI and five runs) across 90 plate appearances.
