• Falls short of first win
Nastrini came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Red Sox, allowing one run on two hits and five walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: He got lifted after 87 pitches (42 strikes) following a Bobby Dalbec homer in the top of the fifth inning that gave Boston a 1-0 lead, preventing Nastrini from recording his first big-league win when Chicago erupted for five runs in the bottom of the frame. Control remains a significant issue for the rookie right-hander, and he's walked at least four batters in three of four starts since his late May promotion. The rebuilding White Sox seem inclined to live with his growing pains though, so Nastrini will carry an 8.39 ERA, 1.99 WHIP and 19:25 K:BB through 24.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road next week in Seattle. • Reaches 20 homers
Henderson went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in a 5-0 win against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Advice: Henderson iced the game for Baltimore in the ninth inning, swatting a three-run shot to right field to give the team a 5-0 lead. The long ball was his 20th of the campaign, second-most in the majors behind Aaron Judge. Henderson has reached base safely via hit or walk in 17 straight games and is batting .258 with four home runs, 11 RBI, 14 runs, a stolen base and an 18:20 BB:K during that span. • Solid in fifth win
Abbott (5-5) went five innings, allowing one run on five hits while walking four and striking out five Saturday vs the Cubs

Advice: Abbott struggled a bit with his command in this one as he tied a season-high with four walks but still managed to get through five innings to get the win. Abbott has now won four of his last six starts and has allowed two runs or fewer in 10 of his 13 starts thus far. The 25-year-old lefty has been a key cog in the Reds rotation this year, and he will take a 3.28 ERA into his start vs the first-place Brewers next week. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago

  • Won't play Sunday
Devers was removed from Saturday's 6-1 loss to the White Sox with left knee soreness and won't play in Sunday's series finale, Sean McAdam of MassLive.com reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk before exiting.

Advice: Manager Alex Cora said post game that Devers reported soreness in his left knee -- the same knee that forced Devers to miss nearly a week in late April -- which led to Devers' removal in the eighth inning. Cora will play it safe with the stud third baseman, giving him a day off Sunday. The Red Sox have a team day off Monday, so Devers' return to the lineup should come Tuesday against Philadelphia. • Swats first homer of 2024
Dalbec went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Getting the start in right field and batting seventh, the 28-year-old took Nick Nastrini deep in the fifth inning for Boston's only offense, and Dalbec's first long ball in the majors this season. He's flashed plenty of power in the minors -- in his last 140 games for Triple-A Worcester, he's slugged 41 homers -- but that hasn't yet translated to the game's highest level with any consistency. He'll lose playing time, and likely his spot on the 26-man roster, when players like Tyler O'Neill (knee), Wilyer Abreu (ankle) and Masataka Yoshida (thumb) are back in action, as Dalbec's .159/.243/.238 slash line in 28 games for the Red Sox makes a poor case to keep him around. • Pilfers two bags in loss
Duran went 0-for-3 with two walks and two stolen bases in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: The 27-year-old did his job as the leadoff man, but the hitters in the three spots behind him in the order went a combined 0-for-11 on the afternoon. Duran came into this series in Chicago having failed to steal a bag in 14 straight games, but he's swiped three in the last two contests to give him 14 on the season. He's also slashing .263/.331/.451 on the year with five homers, 27 RBI and 39 runs in 65 contests. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago

  • Swats ninth homer
O'Hearn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-0 win against the Rays.

Advice: O'Hearn produced Baltimore's only run against opposing starter Taj Bradley, belting a solo homer to right field in the fourth inning. After Bradley departed, O'Hearn scored his team's second run when he singled and stole second base in the eighth frame before coming home on a Jordan Westburg triple. O'Hearn has homered twice in his past three games and is up to nine long balls on the campaign, putting him well on pace to surpass his career high of 14 homers, which he established in 2019 and tied last season. • Takes loss versus Brewers
Mize (1-4) went 5.1 innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks with one strikeout Saturday vs the Brewers

Advice: Mize pitched into the sixth inning for just the sixth time this season. He was pulled with his team up 4-3, but the bullpen allowed both inherited runners to come across to score sticking him with the loss. It was a tough break for Mize as two of his five runs allowed were unearned. The right-hander is still looking for his second win of the campaign, he's now gone eight straight start without a win and has seen his ERA climb from 3.08 to 4.73 in the process. • Stumbles against ChiSox
Bello (6-3) took the loss Saturday as the Red Sox fell 6-1 to the White Sox, giving up five runs on nine hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Only two of the hits off the right-hander went for extra bases, but one of those was a grand slam by Gavin Sheets in the fifth inning. Bello has been tagged for at least three runs in five straight starts, a stretch in which he's stumbled to a 6.75 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 24:12 K:BB over 26.2 innings. He'll look to turn things around in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Yankees. Rotowire.com 18 minutes ago
