    • Goes yard in Friday's win
Fry went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and two total runs scored in Friday's 10-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Fry has homered five times over his last 13 games, going 14-for-33 (.424) with a 10:6 BB:K in that span. The 28-year-old got a start at catcher versus southpaw Patrick Sandoval in this contest, though manager Stephen Vogt has found room for him in various spots including first base, third base, left field and designated hitter this season. Fry is slashing a stellar .360/.500/.628 with six homers, 19 RBI, 22 runs scored and three stolen bases over 114 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:39 pm

    • Three hits in win
Altuve went 3-for-5 with one run scored in Friday's 6-3 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Altuve went 0-for-9 over his previous two games, which marked the first time he'd been held hitless in consecutive contests all year. Friday's effort was his seventh three-hit effort of the campaign. The second baseman's consistency atop the Astros' order is impressive, though he hadn't produced a multi-hit effort since May 5. The 34-year-old is slashing .298/.354/.476 with nine home runs, 18 RBI, 33 runs scored and seven stolen bases across 50 games this season. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:09 pm

    • David Fry stays hot with homer, two hits vs. LAA
David Fry homered while going 2-for-3 in a blowout win over the Angels on Friday.

Advice: Just like we all expected, Fry has been one of the best hitters in the American League this season. You can’t prove we didn’t expect it, anyway. Fry has gone deep six times in his 35 games, and his slash is a borderline unrealistic .360/.500/.628 over that timeframe. Mainly thanks to catcher-eligibility, Fry has to be rostered right now. • Teoscar Hernádez homers in loss
Teoscar Hernádez went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, double, two walks, and two runs scored in a loss to the Reds on Friday.

Advice: Hernádez’s ninth inning home run cut the Reds’ lead to three, but to no avail for the Dodgers. The homer was his 12th of the season, just one behind Shohei Ohtani for the team-lead and his two walks raised his walk rate near 9%. That would be the most Hernádez has walked since 2019. He’s chasing far less than he has in years past, too. That and him hitting in the middle of the Dodgers’ potent lineup has made him one of the best run producers in the league so far this season. • Out of Friday's lineup
Jeffers is not in the lineup for Friday's game versus the Rangers.

Advice: Jeffers started the previous six games but went 2-for-22 with 10 strikeouts during that stretch, and he'll take a seat for Friday's series opener. Christian Vazquez will step in behind the plate and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:12 pm

    • Taking seat Friday
Santana is not in the lineup for Friday's game against Texas.

Advice: Santana will sit for the third time in the month of May. Alex Kirilloff will move to first base and bat sixth in place of Santana. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:16 pm

    • Jurickson Profar scores twice in victory over Reds
Jurickson Profar doubled, walked, scored a pair of runs and collected an RBI on Wednesday as the Padres triumphed over the Reds.

Advice: Profar worked Nick Martinez for a leadoff walk in the fourth inning and scored on a fielder’s choice off the bat of David Peralta. He also chased Martinez from the game with an RBI double in the fifth inning, then came around to score on a run-scoring single off the bat of Jake Cronenworth. He’s in the midst of an outstanding season at the dish — slashing .339/.431/.517 to go along with seven homers, 32 RBI and three stolen bases. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:54 pm

    • Supplies game-winning home run
Toro went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Toro's bat was silent until the eighth inning when he sent out a home run to right field to give the A's their first lead of the night. He's racked up seven hits over his last five games and leads the majors with 28 hits in the month of May. Since April 26, Toro is slashing .362/.406/.553 with three homers, 10 RBI, 17 runs and a 4:16 BB:K in 101 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:45 am

    • Not in Wednesday's lineup
Pillar is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Houston, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Pillar hit a home run in Tuesday's loss to the Astros and has been scorching hot since joining the Angels, putting up a 1.226 OPS with four long balls and four stolen bases. He's still not quite being treated like an everyday player, however, as he's now been out of the lineup three of the last four times the Halos have faced a righty. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:38 am
