    • Pasquantino drives in lone run for Royals in loss
Vinnie Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Pasquantino singled in the first inning to score Maikel Garcia from third after Garcia walked to kick off the inning and subsequently stole two bases. It would be the only run the Royals would score on the night as they found themselves in a pitching duel between Yonny Chirinos and Seth Lugo. Pasquantino now has eight home runs and 48 RBI on the season, and has hit safely in back-to-back games. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:56 pm
    • Riley Greene leads Tigers to win over Phillies
Riley Greene hit an RBI triple on Tuesday, propelling the Tigers to a 4-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Greene capped off Detroit’s four-run outburst in the fourth inning with a run-scoring triple to right field off Phillies starter Ranger Suárez. It wound up being his lone hit during a low-scoring affair at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park. The 23-year-old former top prospect has managed to stay healthy and finally make the leap to upper-echelon fantasy contributor status this season with an .850 OPS to go along with 50 runs scored, 15 homers, 41 RBI and four steals through 78 contests. • Lifts ninth homer Monday
Garver went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Rays on Monday.

Advice: Garver's seventh-inning, 400-foot shot to left with Dominic Canzone aboard snapped a 1-1 tie and gave the Mariners their final two runs of the night. The round tripper snapped a brief 0-for-12 skid that had encompassed Garver's last three-plus games, and it marked the veteran's fourth time leaving the yard in the last 15 contests. Garver is carrying a forgettable .200 average across his 75 plate appearances in June, but an 18.7 percent walk rate and nine extra-base hits have helped him to an impressive .830 OPS in that same span. • Goes deep in loss
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Garcia gave the Rangers a 3-1 lead with his sixth-inning blast, though the advantage was wiped out on a Rhys Hoskins grand slam in the bottom of the frame. As with Hoskins, Garcia's homer ended an extended power drought -- the outfielder hadn't gone deep in any of his past 17 games and had driven in just one run during that span. Garcia is tied for the Rangers' lead with 14 long balls on the season, but he's below pace to match the 39 homers and 107 RBI he racked up last year. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:51 pm

    • Snaps homer drought
Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a 4-1 win against the Marlins.

Advice: Pasquantino put the Royals on the board in the fourth inning with his solo blast to right field. It was the first baseman's first long ball since the first day of June, a span of 20 contests. While Pasquantino hasn't been able to hit the ball over the fence regularly this season, he does have 20 doubles (tied for 10th in the majors) and has already blown away his previous season-best mark with 47 RBI through 76 games. • Receiving first day off
Bell is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Bell will hit the bench for the first time all season, ending a streak of 77 consecutive starts. He'll be getting a breather after he concluded the Marlins' weekend series versus the Mariners with a pair of hitless performances that brought his season-long average down to .246. Jake Burger steps in at first base in place of Bell. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:47 pm

    • Likely to miss 2-to-3 weeks
Reds manager David Bell said Monday that he expects Friedl (hamstring) to return from the 10-day injured list in 2-to-3 weeks, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Cincinnati placed Friedl on the IL on Monday after he aggravated a left hamstring strain in Sunday's 7-4 loss to Boston. The Reds called up Levi Jordan from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move to burnish their depth in the outfield, but Stuart Fairchild could be given the first opportunity to replace Friedl as the club's everyday center fielder. • Back to IL with strained hamstring
The Reds placed Friedl on the 10-day injured list Monday with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Friedl initially tweaked the hamstring a week ago and missed two games before returning to action, but he aggravated the injury in Sunday's 7-4 loss to Boston. The trip to the IL is the third this season for Friedl, who also missed time with wrist and thumb injuries. It's not clear how long he might be sidelined. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:14 pm

    • Reds put TJ Friedl on IL with hamstring strain
Resd placed OF TJ Friedl on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: This is Friedl’s third IL stint of the season. The center fielder had been in a little 2-for-23 slump while dealing with the injury originally suffered at the beginning of last week, but he’ll be missed at the top of the Reds’ lineup. Nick Martini and Stuart Fairchild will pick up at-bats in his place, with Will Benson likely to slide to center. Rotoworld Monday, 1:13 pm
