    • Adoils García goes hitless in fourth straight game
Adolis García went 0-for-4 as the Rangers’ cleanup man Friday against the Marlins.

Advice: This has turned into quite a slump for García; he’s batting .164 in 110 at-bats since Apr. 25. The Rangers still don’t have much reason to drop him out of the cleanup spot, since most of the hitters behind him are struggling, too. His first four weeks were so strong that he’s still hitting a reasonable .232/.289/.457 for the season. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

    • Set for surgery Tuesday
Lee (shoulder) will undergo surgery Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: The procedure will address the torn labrum in Lee's left shoulder, which he sustained May 12 against the Reds. Before the injury, Lee was slashing .262/.310/.331 with two home runs and eight RBI over 145 plate appearances. He should be ready to go for the start of the 2025 season. Rotowire.com Today, 4:27 pm

    • Goes deep Thursday
Greene went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Thursday in a 5-0 victory versus the Red Sox.

Advice: Greene launched a two-run shot in the eighth inning to double Detroit's lead. The long ball snapped a 19-game homer drought that extended back to May 6. Greene has nonetheless gone deep 10 times this season, so he's already one homer away from matching the 11 he hit over 416 plate appearances last year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:54 pm

    • Riley Greene breaks HR drought against Red Sox
Riley Greene homered and walked in a victory over the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: That was the first homer for Greene since May 6. It was a two-run shot off Chris Martin that doubled the Tigers’ lead to 4-0. After a great April the 23-year-old has scuffled considerably in May, but there’s no denying that Greene has the talent to be an upper-echelon fantasy contributor. • Suzuki hits pinch hit home run Thursday
Seiya Suzuki went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run against the Brewers on Thursday.

Advice: The home run was Suzuki’s fifth of the season. He pinch hit in the seventh inning a homered off left-handed reliever Bryan Hudson. It was just the second home run for Suzuki since coming off the injured list on May 11th. He seems to be over the injury as he’s now on a seven-game hitting streak. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:22 pm

    • Absent from Thursday's lineup
Suzuki is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Brewers, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: The Cubs will go with Mike Tauchman in right field, Cody Bellinger at designated hitter and Pete Crow-Armstrong in center field as they try to salvage a series split. Though his power hasn't shown up yet this season, Suzuki enters Thursday's game with a modest six-game hit streak, going 8-for-27 over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:29 am

    • Seiya Suzuki on the bench on Thursday
Seiya Suzuki is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Brewers.

Advice: Pete Crow-Armstrong, who was just promoted from Triple-A, will start in center field with Cody Bellinger moving to designated hitter and Mike Tauchman to right field. It could simply be a routine day off for Suzuki. Still, it’s noteworthy that the Cubs called up Crow-Armstrong today while demoting an infielder, thereby adding another outfielder to an already full position group. Suzuki has struggled in May, slashing .209/.260/.269 in 16 games while dealing with an injury. However, he has struggled early in the season in years past and is striking out just 19 percent of the time in May, so he is continuing to make contact. It should only be a matter of time before he gets it going again. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:26 am

    • Hitless in return
Friedl went 0-for-3 with two walks in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to St. Louis.

Advice: Friedl was activated off the injured list Wednesday after successfully rehabbing a thumb injury. He resumed his roles as the team's starting center fielder and leadoff hitter. It's been a season of stops and starts thus far for Friedl, who was back only six games from a wrist injury when he injured the thumb. The Reds and fantasy managers alike are hoping for his sustained presence in the lineup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:18 am

    • Posts steal
Suzuki went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Suzuki has gone 8-for-27 (.296) during his six-game hitting streak, though he hasn't posted an extra-base hit since May 15. The outfielder's steal Wednesday was his second of the campaign. He's slashing .254/.312/.389 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 19 runs scored and five doubles over 31 contests. Suzuki isn't having a poor year by any means, especially when factoring in his four-week absence with an oblique injury, but he's also not standing out in any particular area.
