    • Bo Bichette collects RBI in loss to Athletics
      Bo Bichette went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Friday in the Blue Jays’ loss to the Athletics.

      Advice: Bichette got Toronto on the scoreboard in the seventh inning with a run-scoring single off Athletics reliever Austin Adams following a leadoff double from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The 26-year-old shortstop has struggled this season to a lackluster .238 batting average to go along with just 19 runs scored, four homers, 26 RBI and four steals across 60 contests.     • Teoscar Hernández delivers in 11th in Dodgers’ win
      Teoscar Hernández went 2-for-4 and doubled in two runs in the 11th to propel the Dodgers past the Yankees 2-1 on Friday.

      Advice: It was a scoreless game until Hernández delivered the contest’s first big hit off Ian Hamilton in the 11th. It actually gave him his first multi-RBI game since May 14.     • Delivers quality start
      Allen allowed two runs on four hits and three walks over six frames in a no-decision Friday. He struck out three during the loss to Miami.

      Advice: Allen served up back-to-back solo homers to Bryan De La Cruz and Josh Bell in the third inning but otherwise kept Miami's offense fairly quiet. It was a needed bounce-back after Allen was tagged with seven runs through 1.2 innings in his last appearance. He posted a 6.26 ERA in six May starts despite two of them being scoreless outings.     • Ozuna smacks two doubles in loss Friday
      Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two doubles against the Nationals on Friday.

      Advice: On a night when the Braves offense had only four hits against Nationals starter Jake Irvin, Ozuna managed to double off Irvin twice.     • Logan Allen surrenders two runs to Marlins
      Logan Allen yielded two runs through six innings Friday in a no-decision against the Marlins.

      Advice: Allen bounced back after getting lit up by the Rockies last time out. He’s one out shy of having four quality starts in five tries (3 ER in 5 2/3 IP vs. the Angels on May 24), but there’s nothing much to get excited about here.       Christian Yelich went 3-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base against the Tigers on Friday.

      Advice: The stolen base was his ninth of the season. Yelich continues to swing a hot bat at the plate as he’s up to .324 on the season with a .934 OPS. The 32-year-old outfielder is in the top 15 in all of baseball in wRC+ (min. 150 plate appearances). Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:38 pm
       
    • Contreras (forearm) expects to return before July
      Willson Contreras told reporters that he expects to return from his forearm injury before July.

      Advice: When asked if he could return as a designated hitter instead of a backstop, Contreras answered with a convincing “hell no.” The backstop did say a return against Chicago next week seemed a little fast ,but he does appear like he’ll beat his All-Star game timeline.     • Another rehab start coming
      Cole (elbow) will make a rehab start with Double-A Somerset on Sunday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Cole made his first rehab appearance Tuesday with Somerset, firing 3.1 scoreless innings with five strikeouts. He threw 45 pitches and touched 97 miles per hour, which is in line with his normal velocity. Cole should see his pitch count lightened Sunday, though he'll likely need at least one more rehab outing before coming off the 60-day IL. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:27 pm
