    • Beginning rehab assignment Friday
Conforto (hamstring) will begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Conforto continues to work his way through a right hamstring strain that he sustained May 11 against the Reds. Before landing on the IL, Conforto was slashing .280/.331/.490 with seven home runs and 20 RBI over 154 plate appearances. If all goes well, he may only need a few rehab appearances before being activated. Rotowire.com Today, 4:32 pm

    • Michael Conforto starts rehab assignment Friday
Michael Conforto (hamstring) began a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Friday.

Advice: The Giants’ outfield could use some reinforcements, and Conforto should be ready to provide that after a couple of minor league games to get his timing back. If all goes well, he should return to the active roster early next week. Before landing on the injured list, the 31-year-old slugger was hitting .280/.331/.490 with seven homers and 20 RBI in 38 games. Rotoworld Today, 4:16 pm

    • Records fifth steal in loss
Gelof went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in an extra-innings loss to the Rays on Thursday.

Advice: Gelof snapped an 0-for-18 slump with a single, while his steal was his fifth of the season but first since April 21. Last season's encouraging rookie campaign is increasingly in the rearview mirror for Gelof, who's now sitting on a .176 batting average and .512 OPS across 162 plate appearances. A significant season-over-season increase in strikeout rate (27.3 percent to 34.6 percent) and a notable decrease in line-drive rate (25.5 percent to 16.5 percent) have contributed to a steep drop in his BABIP (.331 to .258). • Crushes 18th homer
Judge went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Angels.

Advice: Judge didn't have a great day at the plate overall, striking out four times for the second time this season. However, he was able to give the Yankees an early 2-1 lead with a two-run shot off Patrick Sandoval in the fourth, marking his 12th long ball this month. Five of those homers have come over Judge's last eight games and he's now batting .355 in May with 23 RBI and 26 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 6:34 am

    • Aaron Judge hits 275th career homer in victory
Aaron Judge hit a two-run homer to help the Yankees to an 8-3 win over the Angels on Thursday.

Advice: Judge’s two-run homer gave New York a 2-1 lead. The roundtripper was the 275th of his career, and it tied Jorge Posada for eighth all-time on the Yankees’ list. Judge has been spectacular in the month of May — and most of his career — and is up to 18 homers and 41 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:25 pm

    • Anthony Volpe aims to extend hitting streak to 22
Anthony Volpe will carry a 21-game hitting streak into Thursday’s series finale against the Angels.

Advice: Volpe can surpass Diamondbacks star Ketel Marte for the longest hitting streak in the majors this season with another knock during Thursday’s series finale in Los Angeles. The 23-year-old shortstop’s offseason overhaul to his swing and offensive approach have resulted in a robust .288 batting average to go along with six homers and 11 stolen bases. He’s recorded at least one hit in 21 straight contests since May 7. He’s a long way from Joe DiMaggio’s 56-game streak, but it’s an interesting wrinkle for fantasy managers to continue monitoring. • Adames has two-hit game in win against Cubs
Willy Adames went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored against the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: Adames extended his hitting streak to nine games. He continues to have a really nice season for the Brewers in his last year before free agency. The 28-year-old shortstop is up to .260 with a .796 OPS, nine home runs and eight steals this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm

    • Two hits, stolen base in loss
Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Alvarez recorded a base hit in the top of the fourth before coming around to score Houston's only run of the contest on an RBI single from Jake Meyers. The outfielder would add another single in his next at-bat, giving him back-to-back multi-hit games, while also going on to swipe a bag for the second game in a row. Alvarez has now posted 10 multi-hit games this month and has nine extra-base hits in the stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:22 am

    • Edouard Julien is sitting on Thursday
Edouard Julien, Max Kepler, Trevor Larnach, and Alex Kirilloff are not in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Royals.

Advice: Normally, this would be a signal that the Twins are facing a left-handed starter, but they’re facing Brady Singer. This could have something to do with it being a day game after a night game, but Brady Singer does have reverse splits over his career. Perhaps the Twins think stacking righties against him will give them a better chance to win. However, Julien not being in the lineup is also noteworthy because he has not been performing of late, slashing .186/.278/.200 in 24 games in May with a 36.7 percent strikeout rate. He’s not a player you have to hold in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:58 am
