    • Rebounds with win
Stroman (6-2) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing four hits and three walks with one strikeout across 5.2 scoreless innings against Kansas City.

Advice: After allowing a season-high five runs in his last start, Stroman blanked the Royals on Tuesday. However, he struggled with command, finding the strike zone on just 54 of his 102 pitches while issuing three walks. The 33-year-old has generated five combined strikeouts in his last three starts, a stretch in which he's walked seven batters and hit two more. On the year, Stroman owns a 2.82 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP across 79.2 innings. He's lined up to face the Red Sox at Fenway on Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:01 pm
    • Stroman pitches 5 2/3 scoreless innings vs. Royals
Marcus Stroman pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings and allowed four hits in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

Advice: Stroman allowed seven baserunners while striking out just one batter, but the veteran righty did what was needed to stifle a potent Royals lineup on the road. It was a nice bounce back for Stroman, who allowed a season-high five earned runs in his last outing against the Twins, but surrendered just one extra-base hits in this one. Now sitting on a 6-2 record and boasting a 2.82 ERA, Stroman will look to earn his seventh win on Sunday against the Red Sox. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:55 pm
    • Falls out shy of quality start
Eflin allowed two runs on seven hits over 5.2 innings in a no-decision Tuesday against the Cubs. He struck out three.

Advice: Eflin was sold Tuesday, holding Chicago to one run on a Christopher Morel homer through his first five innings. However, he'd ultimately depart with two outs in the sixth before the Rays' bullpen would allow an inherited runner to score. Eflin's now allowed four runs in 9.2 innings over two starts since returning from a brief stay on the injured list. Overall, he's 3-4 with a 4.06 ERA,1.15 WHIP and 50:4 K:BB across 12 starts (68.2 innings). Eflin's currently scheduled to face Atlanta on the road in his next outing. • Zach Eflin survives 5 2/3 innings in start
Zach Eflin allowed two runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Tuesday.

Advice: Eflin struck out three and walked none and gave up just one extra-base hit on the day. It just happened to be a home run to Christopher Morel. Eflin got just six whiffs on 41 swings for a 15 percent whiff rate and 23 percent CSW on the afternoon. The Cubs didn’t square anything up, but it feels a bit like Eflin was lucky to get out of the game with just two runs allowed. He’ll take a 4.06 ERA into a tough showdown against the Braves this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:18 pm

    • Earns seventh straight win
Rodon (9-2) earned the win against the Royals on Monday, allowing one run on five hits and no walks with three strikeouts over seven innings.

Advice: Rodon cruised through the majority of the game, with a two-out RBI single by Freddy Fermin in the seventh inning being his only blemish. While Rodon only struck out three, he generated 14 swinging strikes and didn't allow any extra-base hits. Each of Rodon's seven consecutive wins have also been quality starts, and he has now completed at least six innings in 10 of his 14 outings. He owns a 2.93 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 74:20 K:BB on the season and will look to continue his win streak against the Red Sox on Saturday. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:04 pm
    • Carlos Rodón picks up ninth win Monday vs. Royals
Carlos Rodón allowed one run in seven innings and got the win in the Yankees’ 4-2 victory over the Royals on Monday.

Advice: Rodón gave up five hits, walked none and struck out three to collect his ninth win of the year and lower his ERA to 2.93 in the process. The 31-year-old lefty hasn’t been the big-time strikeout artist from previous years, but he’s reinvented himself this season after a poor Yankees debut last year. The 31-year-old left-hander is set to face the Red Sox on the road this weekend. Rotoworld Monday, 7:51 pm
    • Dazzles with 10 Ks
Skubal (8-1) picked up the win Sunday versus Milwaukee, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters in 6.2 innings.

Advice: Skubal nearly went seven scoreless innings, but he allowed an RBI triple to Brice Turang before being pulled. Skubal dominated the Brewers, inducing 17 swinging strikes and allowing only one extra-base hit, turning in his ninth quality start over his past 10 games. The southpaw has been one of the best pitchers in baseball, compiling a 1.92 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP with 96 strikeouts in 79.2 innings. He is tentatively scheduled for a road start in Houston next weekend. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:43 pm

    • Tarik Skubal strikes out 10 in defeating Brewers
Tarik Skubal fanned 10 while limiting the Brewers to one run in 6 2/3 innings in the Tigers’ 10-2 victory Sunday.

Advice: Skubal hit a career-high 101.7 mph on the gun today while working to Rhys Hoskins in the third. His other two hardest pitches in the game (99.4 and 99.1 mph) also came in that at-bat, which ended with Hoskins out on a foul popup. Skubal moved to 8-1 with a 1.92 ERA. He’s tied for third in the majors in wins, he’s fifth in ERA and he’s fourth in strikeouts with 96. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:19 pm

    • Fans seven in tough-luck loss
Bradley (1-4) took the loss against Baltimore on Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over five innings.

Advice: In his previous outing, Bradley was crushed by the Orioles for nine runs over 3.1 innings, so his performance Saturday was a promising turnaround. However, the strong effort didn't make a difference in the loss column, as Tampa Bay's offense was shut out by Kyle Bradish and a pair of Baltimore relievers. Despite the defeat, fantasy managers who roster Bradley should be encouraged by his start -- in addition to allowing just one run, he racked up 18 swinging strikes and walked only one batter. He now holds a 5.17 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 39:10 K:BB over 31.1 innings on the season. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:01 pm
