    • Grabs steal in loss
Adell went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Adell is now 0-for-11 with two walks over his last four games. Over a longer span, he's gone just 3-for-53 with two walks and 24 strikeouts across his last 16 contests, though that brutal slump hasn't prevented him from seeing consistent playing time in right field. The outfielder is at a poor .190/.254/.429 slash line with nine steals, 11 home runs, 27 RBI, 26 runs scored, five doubles and a triple over 56 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:02 pm

    • Yields four runs in loss
Anderson (5-6) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over six innings to take the loss versus the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Anderson gave up two runs in each of the third and fifth innings. He threw 60 of 90 pitches for strikes, but this was the first time in five starts he allowed more than one run. It was just the second time he's been on the hook for four runs this year. The southpaw is at a 2.63 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 53:33 K:BB over 82 innings through 13 starts in 2024. Anderson's surface stats look close to his career year from 2022, but his 4.70 FIP and .218 BABIP suggest he's been very fortunate in 2024. Given his high walk rate, Anderson is a risky pitcher to roster in fantasy over the rest of the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:51 pm
    • Drops contest against Dodgers
Cortes (3-5) took the loss against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four batters over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Cortes gave up a pair of solo homers among the seven total hits Los Angeles tallied against him, and the four runs he yielded tied a season-high mark. The lefty hurler did at least manage to keep New York within striking range -- though the game ended in a blowout, most of the Dodgers' damage came after Cortes' departure. Cortes is hanging onto a respectable 3.68 ERA on the season, though his current 8.7 K/9 is on pace for his lowest mark since a four-appearance cup of coffee as a rookie in 2018. • Registers 15th steal
Garcia went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Garcia has two steals over his last four games, and he's gone 9-for-35 (.257) across his last eight contests. The third baseman has yet to be caught stealing this season -- he's one of three players with at least 10 steals who has yet to be caught. He's posted a .260/.310/.389 slash line with 15 thefts, five home runs, 36 RBI, 43 runs scored, 13 doubles and three triples over 63 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:06 pm

    • Nestor Cortes shaky again in loss to Dodgers
Nestor Cortes gave up four runs while working 5 1/3 innings in a loss Saturday to the Dodgers.

Advice: Cortes gave up two homers, one to Teoscar Hernandez and another to Enrique Hernandez (note: no relation). The left-hander continues to pitch at an inconsistent level, but his 3.68 ERA and 1.12 WHIP help tell the story that there’s been more better than bitter. He’s scheduled to face the Royals on Thursday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:04 pm
    • José Ramírez hits 19th homer of season in victory
José Ramírez hit a solo homer to help the Guardians to a win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: J-Ram is already up to 18 homers on the season, and that puts him well above a 40-homer pace. The switch-hitting infielder has also driven in 61 runs over 63 games, and you don’t have to be a math expert to know that puts him on pace for a rather large number. • Smacks 18th long ball
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Ramirez has gone 6-for-22 (.273) with two homers and four RBI over six games in June. The third baseman opened the scoring Saturday with a first-inning solo shot off Miami starter Roddery Munoz. For the year, Ramirez is slashing .272/.335/.553 with 18 homers, 61 RBI, 49 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 13 doubles and a triple over 62 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:25 pm

    • Reaches three times, steals base
Turang went 2-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs in Saturday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: The Brewers' primary leadoff man started off the game with a walk, then moved to second and scored on a single by Christian Yelich. Turang would reach on hits in his next two at-bats and scored again in the third, giving him his seventh game with at least two runs scored this season. The second baseman also added his 23rd stolen base of the season, second to only Elly De La Cruz in MLB. Turang's batting average sits at .307 for the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:52 pm

    • Brice Turang swipes another bag in win over Tigers
Brice Turang went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a pair of runs scored on Saturday afternoon as the Brewers eked out a one-run victory over the Tigers in Detroit.

Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk, advanced to second on a balk and raced around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Christian Yelich. He singled again in the third inning and ultimately scored on a ground ball off the bat of Willy Adames. The speedy 24-year-old then reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but was ultimately stranded at third. He has been a catalyst atop the Brewers’ lineup this season — slashing a healthy .307/.371/.415 to go along with three homers, 23 RBI and 23 stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:24 pm
