• Idle versus lefty
Carroll is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Phillies, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Carroll will begin Sunday's game in the dugout with Philadelphia sending southpaw Cristopher Sanchez to the mound. Carroll is slashing .257/.373/.386 with 18 runs and five RBI over 70 at-bats in June. Jake McCarthy will start Sunday's game in center field and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:56 am

  • Logan O’Hoppe goes deep in loss to Dodgers
Logan O’Hoppe slugged a solo homer on Saturday in the Angels’ loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: O’Hoppe was the lone Angels batter to do any damage against Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow as he connected for a fifth-inning homer in this one. It was his 10th round-tripper of the season. The 24-year-old backstop is quietly emerging as one of the better fantasy catchers as he’s on pace to easily eclipse the 20-homer threshold in his full-season debut after being limited to just 51 games last year due to a shoulder injury. • Ryan McMahon leads Rockies to victory over Nats
Ryan McMahon went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a pair of RBI on Saturday, lifting the Rockies to an 8-7 walk-off victory over the Nationals.

Advice: McMahon was at the dish for the conclusion of an instant back-and-forth Coors Field classic which ended in truly bizarre fashion when Nationals reliever Kyle Finnegan committed a pitch clock violation that led to a bases-loaded free pass for McMahon and a walk-off victory for Colorado. The 29-year-old corner infield continued to build his All-Star Game case earlier in this contest by launching a solo homer in the eighth inning to cap off an impressive three-hit effort. He’s batting .280/.354/.486 with 14 homers, 42 RBI and one steal in 286 plate appearances over 75 games so far. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:23 am

  • CJ Abrams clobbers 12th homer in loss to Rockies
CJ Abrams went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI on Saturday in the Nationals’ loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Abrams socked a majestic fifth-inning solo homer to right field -- his 12th round-tripper of the season -- off Rockies starter Cal Quantrill as part of a three-hit effort. The 23-year-old burgeoning fantasy superstar has notched six hits, including one homer and one steal, in 10 at-bats over two games at Coors Field since returning from a brief absence earlier this week due to a cyst near his left wrist. It certainly doesn’t appear that the lingering issue is going to impact his on-field performance based on what we’ve witnessed over the last few days in Colorado. He holds an impressive .829 OPS with 12 homers and 11 steals through 68 contests this season as he continues to build off last year’s breakout campaign. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:21 am

  • Picks up steal Saturday
Gimenez went 1-for-2 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Gimenez has been running well recently, picking up four steals over his last 10 games, but he's hit just .179 (7-for-39) with two walks in that span. The second baseman is up to 13 steals on 16 attempts this year. He's added a .255/.311/.353 slash line with five home runs, 37 RBI, 39 runs scored, 10 doubles and a triple over 303 plate appearances. Gimenez's playing time remains steady, but a significant drop in power and a slight decline in speed have hurt his fantasy utility. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:17 pm
  • Idle Saturday
Drury (illness) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Drury had been scratched from the starting lineup on back-to-back nights, but he won't be listed as a starter for Saturday's series finale due to illness. He'll have a team day off Sunday to recover before Monday's matchup with Oakland. Luis Guillorme will play second base and bat ninth Saturday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:36 pm

  • Brandon Drury remains out of lineup on Saturday
Brandon Drury (illness) remained out of the Angels’ starting lineup for Saturday night’s battle against the Dodgers.

Advice: It’s the third straight game that Drury has missed due to illness. With the Angels off on Sunday, he’ll have plenty of time to rest up in time for Monday’s series opener against the Athletics. Luis Guillorme will start in his place at second base and bat ninth against Tyler Glasnow and the Dodgers on Saturday night. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:31 pm

  • Logs steal in loss
Mullins went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 14-11 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Mullins has multiple hits in three straight games, and he's added a pair of extra-base hits and three steals in that span. He's batting .333 (14-for-42) over his last 12 contests, a stretch that has helped him regain a starting role in center field. The outfielder is batting .202 on the year -- this is the first time he's been at or above .200 since May 8. He's added a .592 OPS, seven home runs, 25 RBI, 35 runs scored and a team-leading 16 steals. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:02 am

  • Records second steal Friday
Crawford went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run in an extra-inning loss to the Marlins on Friday.

Advice: The veteran shortstop hit safely for the third time in the last four games while also posting his second stolen base of the season, with the first having come back on May 30. Crawford's modest recent success aside, he mostly remains mired in a season-long funk -- his current .207 average and .299 OBP are both career lows, while his 21.2 percent strikeout rate is his highest since 2018.
