• Goes deep again Tuesday
McMahon went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics.

Advice: McMahon kicked off the scoring with a two-run blast in the first inning off of Aaron Brooks for his only hit of the evening. He's now upped his hitting streak to nine games and is slashing .378/.310/.676 with three homers, seven RBI and nine runs scored. He's maintained an average north of .300 for the majority of the season thus far and is currently riding a streak of 19 consecutive plate appearances without striking out. • Homers again Tuesday
Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Seager had a rough time against Phillies starter Ranger Suarez, going 0-for-4 with four strikeouts to start the day. However, he'd turn his night around with a solo home run off Jeff Hoffman in the eighth inning, cutting Texas' deficit to 3-2. The long ball extended Seager's hitting streak to six games -- he's gone 7-for-22 (.318) with three homers in that span. The 30-year-old shortstop is now slashing .246/.335/.383 with seven homers, 18 RBI and 20 runs scored through 200 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:13 am
  • Corey Seager homers in loss to Phillies
Corey Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Seager crushed an offering from Jeff Hoffman 103.3 mph off the bat and 380 feet for his seventh home run of the year. It was also his fifth home run in 18 games in May as the power is starting to show up. However, Seager also had four strike outs on Tuesday and is still hitting just .246/.335/.383 on the season. The power surge is encouraging and hopefully it will lead to a full-on hot streak in the coming weeks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm
  • Max Muncy (oblique) resumes baseball activities
Max Muncy (oblique) has resumed baseball activities.

Advice: Muncy fielded grounders on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium as he works his way back from a right oblique strain that sent him to the injured list last week. It certainly doesn’t appear that he’s facing a lengthy absence, but oblique issues can be tricky. There should be a definitive timetable for his return at some point in the next few days. • Commences baseball activities
Muncy took some groundballs Tuesday as he started up baseball activities after his recent oblique strain, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The Dodgers placed Muncy on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain. According to manager Dave Roberts, Muncy sustained the strain in batting practice prior to Thursday's game. Before hitting the injured list, the third baseman was slashing .223/.323/.475 with nine home runs and 28 RBI over 167 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:10 pm

  • J.P. Crawford returns to M’s lineup on Tuesday
J.P. Crawford is leading off on Tuesday against the Yankees.

Advice: Crawford is back at shortstop and leading off on Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium after sitting out Monday’s series opener following his activation for the injured list. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:08 pm
  • In-game replacement in IL return
Crawford (oblique), activated from the injured list earlier in the day, entered Monday's win over the Yankees as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and remained in the game at shortstop, going 0-for-2.

Advice: Crawford struck out swinging in his pinch-hit appearance and subsequently flied out to center to close out the ninth. The veteran shortstop was logging his first game action since April 23, and given his in-game appearance and ability to play defense Monday, he's a likely candidate to return to the starting nine Tuesday. • Hits go-ahead homer
O'Hoppe went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Monday's 9-7 win over the Astros.

Advice: O'Hoppe is heating up at the plate -- he's hit safely in eight of his last 11 games with two homers and 11 RBI in that span. The catcher is up to four long balls, 22 RBI, 18 runs scored, six doubles and a triple while slashing .264/.321/.403 over 157 plate appearances. The 24-year-old got off to a slow start this season, but he's back to offering some pop from the middle of the order. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:26 pm
  • J.P. Crawford (oblique) activated by Mariners
Mariners activated SS J.P. Crawford from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Crawford’s pregame workout today was impressive enough to get him back on the roster tonight after his absence due to an oblique strain and a subsequent bruised hand, but he won’t return to the starting lineup until tomorrow. Dylan Moore will return to his utility role then after spending the last 3 1/2 weeks as a starting shortstop. Rotoworld Monday, 3:47 pm
