• Likely to be activated this week
Bradley (pectoral) has joined the Rays in Tampa Bay and is likely to be activated to make his season debut this week, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Bradley has been out all season with a right pectoral strain, but he looked good in two rehab starts, most recently yielding just one earned run across six innings while striking out eight with Triple-A Durham this past Friday. The exact date for Bradley's season debut has not yet been revealed, but it would either come Wednesday against the White Sox or sometime this weekend versus the Yankees. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago

  • Bryan Woo could be activated this weekend
The Seattle Times’ Adam Jude suggests that Bryan Woo (elbow) could be activated form the IL this weekend to face the Athletics.

Advice: Woo was impressive in his last start at Triple-A, throwing 66 pitches while averaging 95.7 mph on his fastball. He now has a 17-to-0 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 11 1/3 scoreless innings across his three rehab appearances with Tacoma, while allowing just five hits. However, Jude notes that “the team wants to see how Woo feels over the next couple of days before finalizing plans to activate him.” With Emerson Hancock set to make his start against the Twins on Tuesday, his turn in the rotation would come up again this weekend against Oakland, and Woo could be activated to take his place. He certainly looks ready and Jude confirms that, “The club does not plan to go with a six-man rotation and would prefer to keep Hancock stretched out in Triple-A, as opposed to keep him in the majors to pitch out of the bullpen.” Rotoworld 31 minutes ago

  • Mets waive starting pitcher Max Kranick
Mets designated RHP Max Kranick for assignment.

Advice: The 26-year-old Kranick had not yet appeared in a game for the Mets this season, appearing in six games across three minor league levels while making his way back from a hamstring injury. He had allowed seven runs on 18 hits in 14 2/3 innings across those three levels. He was designated for assignment to make room for Yohan Ramirez, who the Mets claimed off waivers from the Orioles. • Removed from 40-man roster
The Mets designated Kranick for assignment Monday.

Advice: He'll give up his spot on the 40-man roster to right-hander Yohan Ramirez, who was claimed off waivers from the Orioles on Monday. Kranick has allowed four runs (two earned) with a 2:4 K:BB in seven innings with Triple-A Syracuse this season. Rotowire.com 51 minutes ago

  • Mets claim RHP Yohan Ramirez off waivers
Mets claimed RHP Yohan Ramirez off waivers from Orioles.

Advice: Quite a 29th birthday present for Ramirez. The right-hander had an 11.81 ERA in three outings with the Mets earlier in the season and then got designated for assignment in early April. He was claimed by the Orioles three days later and had a 6.00 ERA in five appearances in Baltimore. He was designated for assignment on Friday and reclaimed by the Mets today. • Back with Mets
The Mets claimed Ramirez off waivers from the Orioles on Monday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The Mets booted Ramirez from their 40-man roster and then traded him to the Orioles last month, but he's now back in the organization to give them a fresh relief arm. Ramirez holds an 8.74 ERA over eight relief appearances this season between the Mets and Orioles. Rotowire.com 54 minutes ago
  • Set for live BP Tuesday
Giants manager Bob Melvin said Monday that Snell (thigh) will throw a three-inning live batting practice session Tuesday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Snell was cleared to face hitters after a bullpen session Saturday went off without a hitch. The Giants will wait to see how the lefty responds to Tuesday's session before determining the next steps, but Snell is trending in a positive direction. Snell hasn't pitched in more than two weeks because of a Grade 2 left adductor strain. Rotowire.com 57 minutes ago

  • Reds send LHP Moll to Triple-A
Reds optioned LHP Sam Moll to Triple-A Louisville.

Advice: On the surface, the move may seem surprising because Moll has not allowed a run in five innings while striking out four and walking none. However, Moll was one of three Reds relievers with minor league options remaining. The other two are Alexis Diaz and Francisco Cruz, who are clearly not being demoted. Any other reliever sent to the minors would have had to be designated for assignment. Frankie Montas is expected to be activated off the IL later in the week in a corresponding move. • Guardians option Peter Strzelecki to Triple-A
Guardians optioned RHP Peter Strzelecki to Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: The 29-year-old had made three appearances for the Guardians out of the bullpen, allowing no runs on four hits in four innings. He figures to serve as organization bullpen depth throughout the season. Rotoworld Today, 11:32 am
