    Advice: Stripling has lost three straight starts, though he kept the ball in the yard and didn't walk a batter for the first time in that span. The veteran right-hander gave up two runs in the first inning and then ran into trouble again in the fifth and the sixth. Stripling has a 5.19 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 32:12 K:BB over 52 innings across 10 starts this season. The Athletics' rotation has been hammered with injuries, so he's at little risk of slipping out of a starting role any time soon.   • Gaining traction in leverage spots
    Zerpa extended his scoreless streak to 7.2 innings with a perfect inning in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.

    Advice: Zerpa's scoreless streak spans nine appearances, and he's earned five holds while adding an 8:0 K:BB in that span. The southpaw came up through the minors as a starter, but he's found some success in the Royals' bullpen this year. He's up to seven holds through 20 appearances while pitching to a 1.47 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 20:3 K:BB over 18.1 innings this season.     McArthur allowed two hits and struck out two without walking a batter in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.

    Advice: McArthur allowed back-to-back singles to begin the ninth inning, but he retired the next three batters to secure his 11th save of the year. He's allowed multiple baserunners in four of his last six outings, but he's converted his last four save chances. McArthur is at a 4.35 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB through 20.2 innings this season.   • Blows save, takes loss Saturday
    Finnegan (1-3) took the loss and blew a save against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk over 1.2 innings.

    Advice: Finnegan was called upon to protect a one-run lead in the bottom of the ninth inning and got two outs before serving up a game-tying solo homer to Kody Clemens. The contest went into an extra frame, and after Washington failed to score in the top of the 10th, Finnegan was tagged with the loss when Bryce Harper plated the automatic runner on a sacrifice fly. The blown save was just the second for Finnegan this year, with the other coming all the way back on March 31.   • José Ureña gives up one run against Angels
    José Ureña went six innings while allowing just a run against the Angels on Saturday.

    Advice: Ureña has more than held his own as a starter thus far for the Rangers, and while he hasn’t exactly faced the cream of the crop, he’s yet to allow more than two runs in his three starts. The right-hander walked one, struck out three and allowed just four hits, but didn’t qualify for a decision with Patrick Sandoval equaling his one-run effort.     Munoz allowed a run but hung on to notch his eighth save of the season in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Orioles.

    Advice: Gunnar Henderson made things interesting with a two-out, solo home run, but Munoz quickly bounced back and sat down Adley Rutschman swinging to end it.   • Kutter Crawford allows one run in no-decision
    Kutter Crawford only allowed one run over 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Cardinals on Saturday.

    Advice: Crawford pitched well, but so did his pitching counterpart Miles Mikolas, so there’s no W for the 28-year-old. Crawford bounced back nicely from a shaky start against the Ray on Monday, and in the process he lowers his ERA to a strong 2.17.   • McArthur picks up 11th save Saturday
    James McArthur allowed two hits, struck out two and picked up his 11th save against the Athletics on Saturday.

    Advice: McArthur allowed back-to-back singles to start the ninth inning before getting Abraham Toro to line out and striking out JJ Bleday. He then struck out Brent Rooker with the game on the line. McArthur’s ERA is 4.35, but he continues to rack up the saves for Royals and fantasy managers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:56 pm
     
  • Trevor Megill strikes out three in save vs. Astros
    Trevor Megill struck out three in a scoreless ninth in a save against the Astros on Saturday.

    Advice: That’s the sixth save of the season for the 30-year-old right-hander. Megill allowed just one hit, so it’s up to you to decide whether he struck out the side or not. Megill should continue to see save chances while Devin Williams recovers from injury. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:55 pm
