• Idle against lefty
Mullins is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Lefty Shota Imanaga is on the hill for the Cubs, so Mullins and fellow left-handed hitter Heston Kjerstad will duck out of the Baltimore lineup. Austin Hays and Colton Cowser will pick up starts in left and center field, respectively. Rotowire.com Today, 12:25 pm

  • Works four innings again
Springs (elbow) completed four innings while allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and no walks while striking out two in a rehab outing with Triple-A Durham on Tuesday.

Advice: Springs worked four innings for the second consecutive rehab outing, though he struggled to get strikeouts at the same rate as his past appearances. Nevertheless, Springs remains on a positive trajectory and is projected to return to the Rays in late July. Rotowire.com Today, 8:27 am

  • Jeffrey Springs gives up three runs in rehab start
Jeffrey Springs allowed three runs — two earned — over four innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Durham on Tuesday.

Advice: Springs has a 3.12 ERA and a 21/6 K/BB ratio in 17 1/3 innings over his six starts for Durham. He averaged 90.4 mph with his fastball last night, down from 91.7 mph in his three starts before he blew out his elbow in 2023. Obviously, it’d be nice if the velocity were all the way back, but he might be able to get major league hitters out as is. First, he’s due at least one more rehab start. • Stays hot with another homer
Ramos went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Ramos opened up the scoring with a solo home run in the fourth off Yusei Kikuchi for his third homer in his last seven games. The first-time All-Star is swinging a hot bat once again after some struggles towards the end of June, as he's slashing .405/.439/.730 with seven RBI and eight runs scored over his last nine games. For the year, the 24-year-old is slashing .302/.372/.535 with 13 homers, 42 RBI, 27 runs and a 24:64 BB:K in 242 plate appearances. Ramos' 13 home runs are the most by a Giants player under 25 years old through his first 55 games of a season since 1989. Rotowire.com Today, 7:24 am

  • Bo Bichette goes 0-for-4, fans three times
Bo Bichette went 0-for-4 and struck out three times Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: The last strikeout was utter garbage, as Bichette saw six straight balls from Luke Jackson and swung at only one of them. Still, two others were called strikes anyway. Bichette has fanned 14 times in his last eight games, which seems like a particularly bad trend for a guy who isn’t hitting the ball very hard when he makes contact. Tonight’s performance pushed his OPS below .600 for the first time since mid-May. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:36 pm

  • Nabs steal Tuesday
Yelich went 1-for-2 with two walks and one stolen base in Tuesday's 12-2 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Yelich has gone 18-for-46 (.391) with five steals and eight extra-base hits over his last 12 contests. The outfielder is up to 20 thefts this season, the second year in a row and fifth campaign overall where he's reached that milestone. He's added a spectacular .331/.412/.532 slash line with 11 home runs, 41 RBI, 42 runs scored, 11 doubles and three triples across 66 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm
  • Christian Yelich on base three times for Brewers
Christian Yelich went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base on Tuesday against the Pirates.

Advice: This was a game to forget for the Brewers as they lost by 10 runs and didn’t score after the second inning. Still, Yelich continued his sensational season as his .331 batting average would lead the National League if he were qualified. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:56 pm
  • Rafael Devers drives in three more runs in win
Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, three RBI, and a walk in a 12-9 win over the Athletics on Tuesday.

Advice: Devers has been an RBI machine of late. Tuesday was the seventh time in eight games that he drove in multiple runs. Coincidentally, the Red Sox have also won seven of their last eight games. His OPS also climbed to .976, good for sixth-highest in the entire league. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:31 pm

  • Placed on IL with back tightness
The Dodgers placed Glasnow on the 15-day injured list Tuesday due to lower back tightness, retroactive to July 6.

Advice: Glasnow's back flared up Sunday while playing catch, per Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, and his placement on the injured list means he will miss the All-Star game, with Reds right-hander Hunter Greene taking his spot. Glasnow was originally slated to pitch Thursday against the Phillies, but Landon Knack will now take to the mound for the series finale. If Glasnow returns right after the 15-day minimum, he would be lined up to start in the series finale against the Red Sox on July 21. The 30-year-old is 8-5 over 13 starts this season with a 3.47 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 143:29 K:BB over 109 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:31 pm
