      Advice: Rutschman had a brief cold spell a couple of weeks ago, but he's bounced back well. He's hit safely in six straight games, going 9-for-25 (.360) in that span. The catcher is slashing .304/.342/.473 with 10 home runs, 38 RBI, 30 runs scored and one stolen base over 54 contests this season.       Bassitt (6-6) picked up the win Sunday, allowing three runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings against the Pirates. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Bassitt didn't seem to be held back at all after leaving his previous start with neck spasms, tossing 100 pitches Sunday and picking up his third straight victory. The 35-year-old has been part of the decision in all 12 of his starts this season and hasn't yielded more than three runs in an outing since April 26.       Tate (2-1) allowed two runs on four hits and struck out one over 1.1 innings to take the loss and a blown save Sunday versus the Rays.

      Advice: Tate ran into trouble in the eighth inning and ultimately gave up a two-run double to Jose Siri. This left Tate with the loss while also ending his 10-inning scoreless streak at the major-league level. The right-hander has a 2.79 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 11:6 K:BB over 19.1 innings this season.       Advice: Gelof put up the A's only tally Sunday, swatting a game-tying homer off Dylan Lee in the seventh inning. The long ball was Gelof's fourth of the season, and his first since April 22.       Advice: Stott has had trouble getting on base lately -- he's 5-for-44 (.114) with two walks over his last 12 games -- but he's managed to steal four bases in that span. He played a more noticeable role Sunday with a two-run single to tie the game at 4-4 in the fifth inning. Those RBI were his first since May 21.       Morton didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Oakland, allowing one hit and five walks with six K's across six scoreless innings.

      Advice: During his last start, Morton was hammered for 12 hits and eight runs by the Nationals. He did a complete 180 on Sunday, yielding one hit and delivering his first scoreless start since April 27. However, it wasn't a perfect outing, as Morton tied his season high in walks and hit the strike zone on just 58 of his 97 pitches.       Paredes allowed a hit over two scoreless frames and picked up a save over the White Sox on Sunday.

      Advice: Paredes needed only 13 pitches to quickly roll through two shutout innings. It was his first career MLB save and he's turned in seven scoreless innings with Milwaukee since being recalled from Triple-A Nashville on May 24. Paredes followed Kevin Herget's two shutout frames after Freddy Peralta threw five innings in his start. The Brewers made a conscious effort to save the bullpen after Saturday's win that involved several usual late-inning arms, including Trevor Megill, Hoby Milner and Elvis Peguero.     • Bryson Stott swipes two bases in loss to Cards
      Bryson Stott drove in a pair of runs and swiped two bases as the Phillies fell to the Cardinals in 10 innings on Sunday night.

      Advice: Stott drew a walk off of Lance Lynn in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the Phillies were unable to cash him in. He then tied the game up and chased Lynn with a two-run single in the fifth inning. Stott then deftly nabbed second base again, but the Phillies once again couldn’t score him.     • Michael King gets tough luck no decision vs KC
      Michael King allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Royals.

      Advice: King was all set to record the win with the Padres up 3-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. However, with their bullpen being taxed heavily over the last few days, the Padres had to go with Yuki Matsui to close the game, and he allowed three runs while only recording one out. King was only able to induce eight whiffs on 48 swings for a 17 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but he allowed an average exit velocity on all batted balls of just 84 mph.
