    • Throws on flat ground, bullpen next
Gallen threw a flat-ground session Saturday and is expected to throw a bullpen soon, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Advice: Gallen was cleared for throwing June 3 and was able to complete a flat-ground session Saturday. The next box for Gallen to check in his recovery from a right hamstring strain would be a bullpen, which should occur in the coming days. Gallen will be eligible to return from the IL on May 15, though it's unclear if he'll be ready by then. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago

    • Zac Gallen (hamstring) throws off of flat ground
Zac Gallen (hamstring) threw off of flat ground without any issues on Saturday.

Advice: As long as he rebounds fine from that session, he’ll be cleared to throw a bullpen session. Gallen has been shelved since May 31 due to a Grade 1 right hamstring strain. It remains unclear if he’ll require a minor league rehab start or not before rejoining the Diamondbacks’ rotation. Rotoworld 33 minutes ago

    • Tovar goes deep twice against Cardinals
Ezequiel Tovar went 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: The two home runs give Tovar 10 on the season. He hit a solo home run off Kyle Gibson in the sixth inning and a two-run home run that gave the Rockies a 6-4 lead off Andrew Kittredge in the seventh inning. Tovar is up to .294 with a .813 OPS and 28 RBI on the season. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago
    • O’Hearn blasts ninth home run Saturday
Ryan O’Hearn went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a solo home run against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: O’Hearn’s home run was his ninth of the year. He’s been a decent source of power in deeper formats. O’Hearn hits in the middle of one of the best lineups in the league against right-handed pitching. He’s hitting .285 with nine home runs and 21 RBI this year. Rotoworld Today, 4:20 pm

    • Kevin Gausman whiffs ten in complete game shutout
Kevin Gausman struck out ten in a complete-game shutout of the Athletics on Saturday for the win.

Advice: Gausman was outstanding on Saturday, shutting out the A’s in a complete game, his first of his 12-year career. He scattered five hits and walked one batter while striking out ten on 17 whiffs. The 33-year-old right-hander will take a 4.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 69/16 K/BB ratio across 69 2/3 innings into a start against the Guardians in Toronto on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 4:20 pm
    • First to 10 wins
Suarez (10-1) earned the win Saturday over the Mets in London, allowing two runs on eight hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: It wasn't Suarez's most dominant outing (the eight hits allowed were a season high), though he managed to limit the damage en route to his league-leading 10th win. It's encouraging to see Suarez make a successful return to the mound after he was struck in the pitching hand by a line drive in his last start, forcing him out of the game after two innings. Overall, the 28-year-old southpaw sports a pristine 1.81 ERA with a 0.85 WHIP and 85:17 K:BB across 79.2 innings this year. Suarez is currently lined up to face the Orioles on the road in his next outing. Rotowire.com Today, 1:17 pm
    • Ranger Suárez fans six to beat Mets in London
Ranger Suárez struck out six and two runs over 5 2/3 innings on Saturday in a win over the Mets.

Advice: Suárez took the ball for Saturday’s London Series opener across the pond and got a big assist from teammate Orion Kerkering, who came on to strike out Mets star Francisco Lindor and strand a pair of inherited runners in the process. The 28-year-old southpaw has been masterful this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in 12 of his 13 starts. He’ll bring a microscopic 1.81 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 85/17 K/BB ratio across 79 2/3 innings (13 starts) into a road outing on Friday against the Orioles. Rotoworld Today, 1:03 pm
    • Jordan Romano to resume throwing on Monday
Jordan Romano (elbow) is scheduled to resume throwing on Monday.

Advice: Blue Jays manager John Schneider added that Romano received an anti-inflammatory injection in his right elbow last weekend. It’s going to take a couple weeks for the 31-year-old closer to build up his arm strength before returning to Toronto’s bullpen, but it’s an encouraging sign that he’s been cleared to resume throwing again. • Day off Saturday
Diaz isn't in the Rockies' lineup Saturday against St. Louis.

Advice: Diaz will take a seat Saturday after going 1-for-7 with two walks through the first two games of the series. Jacob Stallings will instead get the nod to start at catcher while batting sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 11:28 am
