    • Out again for first game
Riley (side) is not in the lineup for the first game of Monday's doubleheader versus the Padres.

Advice: Riley hasn't played in more than a week due to intercostal inflammation in his left side. He hopes to try swinging a bat soon but would appear to be at least a few days away from returning to the lineup. Zack Short will again be at third base for Atlanta in Monday's afternoon tilt. • Plates five in win
Bohm went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and two additional RBI during Sunday's 11-5 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Bohm collected more than four RBI for the fifth time in his career, hitting a pair of sacrifice flies before tagging Tanner Rainey for a three-run homer in the eighth inning. In his last six games, Bohm is batting 8-for-24 (.333) with nine RBI. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:02 pm

    • Alec Bohm knocks in five to take over MLB lead
Alec Bohm had a three-run homer and two sac flies to lead the Phillies to an 11-5 win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Bohm has had four six-RBI games in his career, including one last month, but this is the first time he’s finished with exactly five. He’s now the major league leader with 42 RBI, giving him one more than Marcell Ozuna and José Ramírez. With a .330/.389/.528 line in 47 games, he’s on track to make his All-Star debut this summer. • Should swing soon
Riley is out of the lineup against the Padres but hasn't had any issues with his intercostal injury Sunday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Riley hasn't seen the field since May 12 due to intercostal inflammation but appears to be progressing in his recovery, and he could soon resume taking swings. The 27-year-old may be able to avoid a stint on the injured list but still seems to be at a couple days away from rejoining the lineup. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:33 pm

    • Austin Riley (side) feeling much improved Sunday
Austin Riley (side) felt much improved on Sunday and is expected to begin swinging a bat soon.

Advice: For the first time since suffering the injury, Riley didn’t feel anything in his side on Sunday. He’ll now start to ramp back up with the hope that he’ll be able to rejoin the Braves’ lineup in a couple of days. Zack Short will continue to handle the hot corner in his absence. • Still sidelined Sunday
Riley (side) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Advice: The 27-year-old said Saturday that he's feeling better, but he's still absent from the lineup for a fifth straight game due to left side inflammation. A trip to the injured list has yet to be discussed for the third baseman, but that could change if Riley doesn't show more improvement soon. Zack Short will receive another start at the hot corner Sunday for Atlanta. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:18 pm

    • Riley, d’Arnaud remain out against Padres
Austin Riley (side) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Padres.

Advice: As expected, Riley will miss a sixth straight games as he deals with left side inflammation. The infielder is considered day-to-day, but his next chance to get in the lineup won’t come until next week. Zack Short will start while he rests. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:05 pm

    • Return delayed multiple weeks
Jung (wrist) still appears to be at least six weeks from returning to the lineup, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Jung has yet to pick up a bat after undergoing surgery on his right wrist April 2 and is expected to be reevaluated in another 10-to-14 days before being cleared to start taking swings. The initial timeline for his return was 6-to-8 weeks, which was later adjusted to 10-to-12 weeks, and he now appears to be tracking toward the latter end of that estimation, if not later. The repair of his fractured wrist proved to be trickier than initially anticipated, and Texas will likely be cautious in its approach with the budding star at third base, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect him back until late June or early July. • Missing fifth straight
Riley (side) isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Saturday's game versus San Diego.

Advice: Riley said Saturday that he is feeling better, per Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, but he has yet to resume swinging a bat. The 27-year-old infielder also noted that the team has not talked with him about a potential move to the injured list; however, Riley wouldn't say that he would be back in time for the start of Atlanta's upcoming series with the Cubs on Tuesday. Zack Short, who will start at third base and bat seventh Saturday, has served as Atlanta's third baseman since Riley went down and should continue to do so until the slugger recovers.
