    • Exits early with hamstring injury
      Marsh suffered a right hamstring strain and was removed from Sunday's contest with the Cardinals in the bottom of the eighth inning, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Marsh notched a single off of reliever Andrew Kittredge to open the bottom of the eighth, leaving the game after advancing to second base on a base knock from Nick Castellanos.       The Phillies announced that Brandon Marsh was pulled from Sunday’s game against the Cardinals due to a right hamstring strain.

      Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder suffered the injury while running the bases in the eighth inning on Sunday. He’ll head for further evaluation to determine the severity of the strain. Expect the Phillies to provide an update on his status on Monday. Fantasy managers who are relying on Marsh for next week should be sure to have a contingency plan in place.       Brandon Marsh was removed from Sunday night’s battle against the Cardinals in the eighth inning due to an apparent leg injury.

      Advice: Marsh rounded second base and wanted to turn on the jets to go to third, but pulled up lame and had to hobble back into second base. It’s unclear if it was a hamstring or some sort of knee issue, though he was able to walk off the field under his own power. He’ll head for further evaluation.       Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, a home run and four RBI against the Athletics on Saturday.

      Advice: The home run was Ozuna’s 17th of the season. Only Aaron Judge, Kyle Tucker and Gunnar Henderson have more. Only Jose Ramirez has more than Ozuna’s 53 RBI this year.       Yelich went 5-for-6 with a stolen base, two doubles, five RBI and one run scored in Friday's win against the White Sox.

      Advice: Yelich collected his first five-hit game of 2024 and fifth of his career, achieving the feat for the first time since Aug. 17, 2019. The former MVP has been resurgent since returning from a back injury May 8, hitting .321 (25-for-78) with one homer, six stolen bases, 16 RBI and 14 runs scored.       Christian Yelich went 5-for-6, drove in five runs and stole a base in a 12-5 win over the White Sox on Friday.

      Advice: The Brew Crew were able to pick up 23 hits and six walks against the overmatched White Sox. Yelich was responsible for nearly a quarter of those, and two of them were double, giving him six on the season. The steal was the eighth, and Yelich continues to impress when on the field in 2024 with a .325/.406/.564 slash. It’s fun to see a the MVP version of Yelich thus far.       Brandon Marsh went 1-for-3 with a double, RBI and a run scored as the Phillies triumphed over the Cardinals on Friday night in Philadelphia.

      Advice: Marsh opened the scoring in the second inning as he drove in Alec Bohm with a ground ball to first base. He then smacked a one-out double in the seventh inning and raced around to score on a two-out single by Johan Rojas.       Schwarber went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, an additional RBI, a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's 6-1 victory over the Giants.

      Advice: He got the Phillies started with an opposite-field homer off Kyle Harrison to lead off the first inning. Schwarber drove in a second run with a base hit in the eighth, extending Philadelphia's lead to 5-0. It's the third straight two-hit game for Schwarber -- he's gone 6-for-12 with two homers, four RBI and two steals in that span.
