    • Homers as part of three-hit night
Freeman went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and three runs scored in Tuesday's 15-2 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Freeman's big hit of the night came in the sixth when he went back-to-back with Shohei Ohtani as part of a four-homer inning for the Dodgers. Freeman now has multiple hits in four of nine games this month to go along with three home runs after he totaled just six homers through the end of May. His .401 on-base percentage currently ranks fifth in all of baseball, as he's slashing .297/.401/.498 with 30 extra-base hits, 41 RBI, 43 runs and a 39:49 BB:K in 299 plate appearances. • Starting rehab assignment
Drury (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Drury went down with a hamstring injury May 8 and was placed on the 10-day injured list a day later. The second baseman hasn't faced any setbacks with his recovery to this point and is now ready to test himself in a game setting for the first time in over a month. Expect Drury to appear in at least a couple of games with Salt Lake before the Angels decide whether he's fit to return from the IL. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:35 pm

    • Brandon Drury starts rehab assignment on Tuesday
Brandon Drury (hamstring) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Salt Lake.

Advice: Drury has been on the shelf since early May due to a left hamstring strain so it’s a positive sign that he’s ready to return to game action. He should be back in Los Angeles at some point later this week. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:30 pm

    • Freddie Freeman doubles twice in blowout win
Freddie Freeman doubled twice and drove home a pair of runs in a blowout win Saturday over the Yankees.

Advice: One of the doubles was a rare misplay from Alex Verdugo, but it still counts in the scoreboard. The 34-year-old now has doubled 19 times on the season while driving in 40 runs. Even with a mediocre May, Freeman’s slash of .293/.399/.488 is awfully hard to complain about. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:04 pm

    • Slated for rehab stint next week
Drury (hamstring) has responded well to recent baseball activities and is likely to head out on a rehab assignment during the week of June 10, per MLB.com.

Advice: Drury hasn't played since injuring his left hamstring May 8, but he recently progressed to running and participating in full baseball activities, including taking groundballs and hitting on the field. The veteran infielder hasn't had any setbacks while taking part in that work and thus appears just about ready to head out on a rehab stint. It's unclear how many minor-league games Drury will play in, but it appears he could be back with the Angels by the end of next week. Rotowire.com Saturday, 12:20 pm

    • Slugs homer Thursday
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 11-7 win over Pittsburgh.

Advice: Freeman helped Los Angeles' offense get off to a fast start with his three-run blast in the first inning. The long ball extended his modest hitting streak to five games, during which he has slashed .389/.455/.889 with two homers, five RBI, five runs and two steals. Freeman has four home runs over his past 15 contests, matching the amount of homers he hit across his initial 49 games of the campaign. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:33 am

    • Freddie Freeman swats three-run homer in win
Freddie Freeman walloped a three-run homer on Thursday in the Dodgers’ win over the Pirates.

Advice: Freeman followed singles by Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani in the opening frame with a no-doubter down the right-field line off Pirates starter Bailey Falter. The 34-year-old first baseman has gone deep twice in his last four contests and is up to eight big flies on the year to go along with a .294 batting average and 38 RBI through 64 games. • Swipes bag in loss
Freeman went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run against Pittsburgh in a loss Wednesday.

Advice: Freeman has been much less active on the basepaths this season -- he's attempted just four steals (with three successes) after going 23-for-24 last year. That 2023 performance was likely an aberration, as the 23 thefts were 10 more than his previous career-high mark. Freeman's other numbers are mostly down so far this season as well, but he's still been quite productive with a .294/.397/.476 slash line, seven homers, 17 doubles, 35 RBI and and 36 runs through 63 contests. • Freddie Freeman has two hits in loss to Pirates
Freddie Freeman went 2-for-4 with a double in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: Freeman had a first-inning single and smoked a 103.6 mph double off Jared Jones, finishing as the only Dodger with multiple hits on the day. The veteran has been his usual solid self all season and should add a bit more power as the weather heats up. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:46 pm
