      Advice: Whitlock is now off the 40-man roster. The 27-year-old right-hander will miss the rest of 2024 as he underwent an internal brace procedure on his right elbow in late May. Whitlock is already slated to miss the remainder of the season after he underwent an internal bracing procedure on his right elbow earlier in the week.
