MRI reveals bone spur in Joe Musgrove’s elbowJoe Musgrove underwent an MRI that revealed a bone spur and contusion in his right elbow.
Advice: Musgrove, who landed on the injured list last weekend with right elbow inflammation, received both a PRP and cortisone injections to address the issue and hopes to resume throwing in roughly two weeks. The 31-year-old righty told reporters arthroscopic surgery is possible if the issue doesn’t improve, but that’s not being considered as an option for now.
