      Advice: Gasser will be out for the rest of the season and most of the 2025 campaign after undergoing Tommy John surgery Monday, so his move to the 60-day IL is hardly a surprise.       Angels transferred LHP Patrick Sandoval to the 60-day injured list.

      Advice: Sandoval was in the midst of one of the better stretches of his career before suffering a serious left elbow injury during last Friday’s start against the Dodgers.       Advice: Rodriguez was thrusted into the Brewers' big-league rotation following a plethora of injuries to their starting unit, but he'll now return to the minors after posting a 7.30 ERA and 1.78 WHIP across 12.1 innings to begin his MLB career. It's unclear who will fill the open spot in Milwaukee's rotation following Rodriguez's departure, but it's possible the Brewers turn to the newly signed Dallas Keuchel until they get a few pitchers back from the injured list. The 29-year-old righty latched on with the Brewers earlier this month following his removal from Toronto’s 40-man roster. Senga will need multiple rehab starts to build up his workload before making his season debut for the Mets, so he likely won't be activated from the 60-day injured list until after the All-Star break. Although the 29-year-old right-hander has found success in the minors this season across the three organizations he's been a part of, his 6.30 career ERA in the majors will likely limit him to low-leverage situations while with the Brewers.
