    • Three hits, four RBI in win
Mountcastle went 3-for-6 with two doubles, four RBI and three runs scored in Thursday's win over the Yankees while also drawing a walk.

Advice: Mountcastle increased Baltimore's lead to six runs with a three-run double in the second before also coming around to score later in the frame. He would go on to reach base four times in the game while also driving in another run, matching his season high with four RBI. The first baseman has now recorded multiple hits in back-to-back contests and extended his hitting streak to five games with Thursday's performance. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago
    • Santander belts 19th home run Thursday
Anthony Santander went 2-for-5 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: Santander’s home run was his 19th of the season. He’s hit a ridiculous 10 home runs in 19 games in June. Santander’s hitting .230 with a .806 OPS and 48 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:36 pm

    • Yandy Diaz homers as Rays defeat Twins in 10
Yandy Diaz hit a two-run homer and doubled in an extra-inning loss to the Rays on Thursday.

Advice: Diaz absolutely clobbered a two-run homer that went an estimated 439 feet to extend the Rays’ lead to 6-2 in the ninth. It turns out the Rays would need those runs, as Minnesota scored four to tie it in the bottom half of the frame. Diaz is starting to heat up again, and he’s been much better than the .264/.327/.368 slash suggests after his slow start. Rotoworld Today, 1:30 pm

    • Carlos Santana homers, gets three hits in loss
Carlos Santana went 3-for-5 with a homer in a loss to the Rays on Thursday in extra-innings.

Advice: Santana’s homer made it 6-3 in the ninth, and Minnesota would score three more runs to take the game into extras before falling. The 38-year-old has gone deep 12 times, and while he hasn’t helped much in the average category (.247), he’s been a solid power-producer; particularly since scuffling over the first three weeks. • Moves rehab to Triple-A
Foscue (oblique) was transferred to Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday to continue his rehab assignment.

Advice: Foscue went 7-for-17 with one home run in six games with the Rangers' Arizona Complex League affiliate after missing two months with a left oblique strain. He could be ready for activation soon, but Foscue isn't a given to rejoin the major-league roster at that time. Rotowire.com Today, 12:02 pm

    • Nolan Jones (illness) remains out of the lineup
Nolan Jones (illness) is not in the Rockies lineup on Thursday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jones will miss his second straight game with an illness as Sean Bouchard fills in for him in left field and bats second. Jones has looked better since coming off the IL, going 5-for-13 (.385) with one stolen base and just two strikeouts to eight walks. The plate discipline improvements are really nice to see and there might still be a buy low window here before he returns to the lineup from this bout of sickness. Rotoworld Today, 12:00 pm

    • Resting against lefty
Biggio is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: Biggio will join fellow left-handed hitters Gavin Lux and Jason Heyward on the bench for the series finale in Colorado while the Rockies send southpaw Ty Blach to the hill. Enrique Hernandez will enter the lineup at third base as Biggio's replacement. Rotowire.com Today, 9:39 am

    • Exiting lineup Thursday
Cabbage is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Chas McCormick will get the nod in right field Thursday, and he and Cabbage have now picked up six starts apiece at the position since Kyle Tucker bruised his right shin earlier this month and eventually landed on the injured list. Houston should continue to deploy a timeshare between the lefty-hitting Cabbage and the righty-hitting McCormick at the position until Tucker is back in action, but manager Joe Espada doesn't seem to be running a strict platoon.
