    • Could miss multiple days
Arcia (head) got checked out at a local hospital Tuesday after continuing to feel unwell Monday night, and while tests came back negative, the shortstop could be sidelined for multiple days, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: "We'll probably give him two or three days," manager Brian Snitker said prior to Tuesday's game being rained out. "We'll look at him tomorrow and see - he might be available." Arcia left Monday's game due to dizziness that was initially attributed to dehydration, although no official diagnosis has been announced. Atlanta is set to play a doubleheader Wednesday against the Cardinals following the rain-out, but Arcia could end up sitting for the entire twin bill if he's still not feeling 100 percent. Zack Short will handle shortstop duties until he's ready to return, and Luke Williams was called up Tuesday to provide depth at the position. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

    • Playing time on downswing
Haniger is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Haniger has picked up just one start in the Mariners' last five games, with Seattle facing five right-handers during that stretch. The Mariners should continue to make room in the lineup for Haniger against left-handed pitching, but Mitch Garver looks to be the preferred option ahead of Haniger at designated hitter when the team faces righties. • Still at third base
Smith started at third base and went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Brewers. He was also hit by a pitch.

Advice: Smith gave the Rangers an early lead in the top of the first inning but the offense was silenced for the last eight frames. The HBP was his second in as many games and third over the last five; he leads MLB in that category with 12. It was thought Smith's run at third base might come to end this week, but Josh Jung (wrist) experienced a setback and is not expected to return during the Rangers' road trip that ends Sunday in Baltimore. • Drives in five in loss
Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a home run and five RBI in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Most of his damage came on a grand slam in the eighth inning off Reed Garrett as the Yankees tried to mount a comeback from a 9-1 deficit. Judge is putting the finishing touches on a mammoth June that has seen him slash .386/.500/.871 with nine homers and 30 RBI in 20 games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:33 am
    • Loses again
Heaney (2-9) took the loss Tuesday against Milwaukee, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Heaney fell to his ninth loss of 2024, a total that only trails Dakota Hudson. However, seven of those losses have come despite Heaney allowing three or fewer earned runs, a result of inconsistent defense and a Rangers' offensive attack that's underwhelmed compared to expectations. Still, Heaney has been a reliable option since the start of May, owning a 3.26 ERA and a 49:11 K:BB in 49.2 innings. The lefty is tentatively scheduled to start Sunday at Baltimore. • Aaron Judge hits grand slam in loss
Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk and five RBI in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Judge had an RBI double in the seventh inning with the Yankees down by seven but then crushed a 390-foot grand slam at 109.4 mph that brought the Yankees within two. While the bottom of the Yankees lineup may not be particularly deep, they still have Aaron Judge, which will always make them a threat. The big right fielder now has 29 home runs and 75 RBI already this season, which seems like video game numbers. You’re feeling great if you were able to take him with your first-round pick. • Josh Smith drives in lone run for Rangers in loss
Josh Smith went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Smith singled off Hoby Milner in the first inning to score Corey Seager from second, giving the Rangers an early 1-0 lead and their only run of the game. Smith was responsible for just one of five hits the Rangers had on the night, but the young third baseman has turned in a solid June, going 22-for-61 (.361) at the plate with eight extra-base hits and 10 RBI. • Heaney allows two earned runs in loss to Brewers
Andrew Heaney allowed two earned runs over five innings while striking out four in Tuesday’s loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Heaney scattered two runs across five frames, allowing an RBI single to Jackson Chourio in the third inning and a solo homer to Joey Ortiz in the fifth. The veteran lefty did a nice job of limiting runs but received only one run of support from his offense, as he remains stuck on just two wins for the year. Sitting on a 2-8 record with a 4.17 ERA, Heaney could have a tough time earning that third win on Sunday when he’s set to take on the Orioles in Baltimore. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:36 pm

    • Tuesday's start postponed
Gibson and the Cardinals won't face Atlanta on Tuesday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Tuesday's game will be made up via a doubleheader Wednesday, and Gibson will take the mound for Game 1. The 36-year-old righty threw seven scoreless innings during his most recent start, though back tightness caused him to miss his last turn through the rotation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:37 pm
