    • Accounts for offense in loss
Henderson went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Henderson has homered in four straight games and continues to lead the majors with 16 long balls. The shortstop's sixth-inning blast off Sonny Gray was all the runs the Orioles could muster Monday. Henderson stumbled a bit in the middle of May, but he's quickly returned to form and is now sporting a .271/.351/.610 slash line with 34 RBI, 35 runs scored and seven stolen bases over 45 contests. • Henderson blasts 16th home run Monday
Gunnar Henderson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Cardinals on Monday.

Advice: Henderson accounted for all the Orioles’ runs on the night. He blasted his league-leading 16th home run in the sixth inning off Sonny Gray, who hadn’t allowed a single hit at that point in the game. The 22-year-old is up to .271 with a .961 OPS and 34 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 7:56 pm

    • Keeps mashing Sunday
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Henderson is on a tear with five homers and seven RBI over his last nine games. His blast Sunday was another leadoff homer against Mariners starter George Kirby. Henderson is leading the majors with 15 long balls to go with seven steals, 31 RBI, 34 runs scored, four doubles, four triples and a .270/.348/.598 slash line over 44 contests. His steal Sunday was his first since April 27. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:25 pm

    • Slugs league-leading 14th homer
Henderson went 1-for-3 with his MLB-leading 14th home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Not only was it flamethrowing reliever Andres Munoz whom Henderson took deep in the ninth inning, but he did so to the opposite field and over the 13-foot wall in left field in an impressive showing of power. It was the second game in a row with a homer for Henderson, who also drew a pair of walks Saturday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:30 pm

    • Posts three hits Friday
Arenado went 3-for-5 with one RBI in Friday's 10-6 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Arenado had gone 5-for-38 with no multi-hit efforts and a 1:10 BB:K over his previous nine contests. The third baseman hasn't stumbled as much as some of his teammates, but he's still in the midst of a down year, especially from a power standpoint. He's slashing .268/.323/.375 with three home runs, 22 RBI, 17 runs scored and nine doubles over 43 games on the year. Arenado hasn't hit fewer than 20 homers in a full-length campaign since 2014, and he's never slugged lower than .405 over a full year in his career, but he's got a lot of work to do to get back to those levels in 2024. • Triple, home run in win
Henderson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an RBI triple and a second run scored in Friday's 9-2 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Henderson led off the game with a solo shot off Bryce Miller, his 13th homer of the year, before driving in a second run with an opposite-field triple in the seventh inning. While Henderson's gotten off to a great start this year, he'd been slumping a bit coming into Friday's contest, going 0-for-11 in his prior three games. Overall, the 22-year-old shortstop is slashing .263/.339/.569 with 29 RBI, 32 runs scored and six steals across 189 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:09 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson powers Orioles past Mariners
Gunnar Henderson crushed a leadoff homer, tripled and drove in a pair of runs on Friday night, powering the Orioles to a lopsided 9-2 victory over the visiting Mariners.

Advice: Henderson got the home half of the first inning started with a bang, clobbering the second pitch thrown by Bryce Miller for a 402-foot (101.3 mph EV) solo shot — his league-leading 13th of the season. The 22-year-old superstar also drove in Jorge Mateo with a run-scoring triple in the seventh inning, then scored on an RBI double off the bat of Adley Rutschman. With his two-hit attack, Henderson is now slashing .263/.339/.569 with 13 homers, 29 RBI and six stolen bases. Rotoworld Friday, 6:39 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson bats cleanup versus Blue Jays
Gunnar Henderson, who had led off for the Orioles every game this season, is in the cleanup spot for Wednesday’s game.

Advice: It seems like this is a consequence of the struggling Cedric Mullins being dropped to the ninth spot today, and manager Brandon Hyde not wanting to stack lefties. Still, Henderson hits more like a No. 3 or No. 4 hitter than a leadoff man anyway; he’s sitting at .264/.339/.553 this year and .257/.331/.495 for his career. Jordan Westburg is leading off today. It’d be great for his value if this becomes permanent, but it doesn’t sound like that’s what Hyde is planning at the moment. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:16 am

    • Batting cleanup Wednesday
Henderson will start at shortstop and bat cleanup in Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: It's the first time this season that Henderson has batted anywhere other than leadoff. The 22-year-old's production has slowed in May (.649 OPS), so Orioles manager Brandon Hyde is electing to shake things up a bit. Toronto is starting left-hander Yusei Kikuchi on Wednesday, and the left-handed-hitting Henderson has actually been much better versus southpaws (1.008 OPS) this season.
