      Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters after Friday’s extra-innings loss to the Dodgers that Juan Soto (forearm) wasn’t available.

      Advice: Soto left Thursday’s game with inflammation in his forearm, and there was some speculation that the outfielder could be available off the bench for Friday’s contest. Several possibilities passed where Soto could have entered, but Boone kept the outfielder on the bench.       Advice: Bregman injured his left hand against the Cardinals on Tuesday after being hit by a pitch in the first inning. X-rays came back negative, though the Astros opted to scratch Bregman from Wednesday's lineup to give the 30-year-old additional rest. Manager Brandon Hyde said Thursday that Bradish's start wasn't pushed back due to health concerns, so he should be a full go Saturday.
