    • Wyatt Langford hits for cycle in rout of Orioles
Wyatt Langford hit for the cycle and drove in four runs as the Rangers bested the Orioles 11-2 on Sunday.

Advice: Langford had just 14 extra-base hits in 59 games this season before coming up with three tonight. The homer, his fourth, came in his fifth and final at-bat of the night. It caps off a fine June for Langford in which he hit .283/.347/.446 with two homers, 18 RBI and six steals in 25 games. Things will likely only keep getting better from here. • Re-entering rotation Wednesday
Jones is listed as the Pirates' starting pitcher for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals at PNC Park.

Advice: Jones will slot back into the rotation for the first time since June 22 after the Pirates opted to skip his turn this past week. The decision to bypass Jones' turn wasn't based on any injury; instead, the Pirates are cognizant of keeping the 23-year-old right-hander's workload in check during his first season in the majors. The Pirates haven't offered up a firm innings limit for Jones in 2024 nor outlined their plans on when/if he might be skipped again, but fantasy managers shouldn't hesitate to keep him active when he's confirmed to start. Though he's had more trouble keeping walks in check in his recent starts compared to earlier in the campaign, Jones will still head into his 16th start of the season Wednesday with stellar ratios (3.66 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 19.4 K-BB%). • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (hand) hopes to play Monday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. said his right hand was sore Sunday after he was hit by a Gerrit Cole pitch, but he added that he should be able to play Monday.

Advice: Guerrero remained in today after getting plunked. X-rays taken after the game came back negative. Rotoworld Today, 3:23 pm

    • Fans 11 in no-decision
Crochet came away with a no-decision Sunday against the Rockies, allowing two earned runs on five hits and zero walks while striking out 11 over seven innings.

Advice: Crochet's workload was a major question entering this one -- reports earlier this week stated his workload was "going to start dwindling". The 25-year-old threw 88 pitches and made it through seven-plus innings for the third time this season, temporarily quieting the concerns. The White Sox will be cautious with Crochet ahead of the trade deadline, but he remains a must-start as long as he is active. The southpaw owns a 3.02 ERA, a 0.93 WHIP and a league-leading 141 strikeouts over 101.1 innings this season. He is tentatively scheduled for a road start in Miami next weekend. • Crochet records 11 strikeouts in no-decision
Garrett Crochet allowed two runs in seven innings and got a no-decision against the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Crochet gave up five hits, walked none and struck out 11. He was excellent once again. Both runs Crochet allowed came in the second inning when the Rockies scored on a balk and a sacrifice fly. Otherwise, he dominated with 11 strikeouts and now has a 3.02 ERA on the season. Crochet continues to make his case for the American League Cy Young award. In his last 11 starts, he has a 1.48 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 94 strikeouts in 66 2/3 innings. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Marlins on the road next weekend.

    • X-rays negative on hand
Guerrero had X-rays on his right hand come back negative after being hit by a pitch during Sunday's loss to the Yankees, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Advice: The 25-year-old remained in the contest after being hit by the pitch during the third inning, but he was eventually pulled for a pinch hitter. He finished the day 1-for-2 with a base hit. Guerrero appears to have avoided a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener against Houston. • Hitting streak over at 25
Reynolds went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Sunday's 4-2 win against Atlanta.

Advice: Reynolds didn't get the ball out of the infield on Sunday with a pair of groundouts to go with two strikeouts. His 25-game hitting streak is the longest in MLB this season and the fifth longest by a Pirates player since 1900. He entered June with a .249/.320/.402 slash line and finishes at .274/.341/.466. The 29-year-old has 13 homers, 46 RBI and five stolen bases for the season. Rotowire.com Today, 11:42 am

    • Surprise addition to lineup
Soto (hand) will start in right field and bat second Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: The 25-year-old was originally slated to sit Sunday and said he may undergo an MRI or CT scan Monday when the Yankees are back in New York, so his late addition to the lineup is a major surprise. It's unclear if Soto will still require any of the medical imaging, but he's apparently feeling well enough to play despite experiencing some pain and weakness in his bruised right hand Saturday. • Juan Soto (hand) back in starting lineup vs. Jays
Juan Soto (hand) is back in the starting lineup and hitting second while playing right field against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Soto was originally not in the lineup, but the 25-year-old is feeling well enough to get back out there after missing Saturday’s contest with a contusion in his hand. It’s most welcome news for fantasy managers who have their superstar back in the lineup. J.D. Davis is back to the bench with Soto returning. Rotoworld Today, 10:36 am
