      Advice: Thomas continues to be one of the better stolen-base threats in the sport, and it’s worth pointing out that his 15 swipes have come in just 26 games. The speed has been there for the 28-year-old. Now, about that .212/.278/.327 slash line.       Advice: Washington was being shut out by rookie hurler Spencer Schwellenbach until Thomas tagged him for a three-run homer in the fifth inning. That was the biggest highlight of a very productive performance by the outfielder, who added a couple cherries on top with a pair of steals in the ninth frame.       Lane Thomas went 3-for-4 with a go-ahead three-run home run, double, walk, two runs scored, and two stolen bases in the Nationals win over the Braves on Wednesday.

Pham has been one of Chicago's most productive hitters since signing with the team in April, but he's fallen into a 0-for-12 funk at the plate over his last three starts.       Nationals activated OF Lane Thomas from the 10-day injured list.

      Advice: Thomas has been on the IL for just over a month with a knee injury. The 28-year-old was tremendous in 2023 but has gotten off to a brutal start in 2024 with a .184/.250/.253 slash line in 22 games. He will remain a fixture in the Nationals’ lineup and should turn things around in the coming weeks. While he may not reach the highs of 2023, he remains a quality MLB outfielder and his 11 steals on the season signal the type of fantasy upside he has. Thomas has been out since late April with a Grade 2 MCL sprain, but he is now ready to roll following a four-game rehab stint with Double-A Harrisburg. Thomas mostly struggled over the first few weeks before landing on the IL, slashing .184/.250/.253 with two homers and 11 steals, but he should immediately slot back in as the starting right fielder for Washington.
