      Michael Conforto (hamstring) went 1-for-3 on Friday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Sacramento.

      Advice: Conforto kicked off his rehab assignment by getting in a couple frames in left field as he works his way back from a right hamstring strain. The 31-year-old veteran was off to a strong start at the dish, with encouraging Statcast batted ball metrics to back it up, which should make him a relevant option for fantasy managers once he returns.       Cease did not factor into the decision in Friday's 11-8 win over the Royals, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: Despite generating 16 whiffs out of his 98 total pitches, Cease managed to strike out only five, tying a season-low also reached on May 20 against Atlanta and April 27 against Philadelphia. The Padres ace was cruising through five innings, allowing just two baserunners; however, he unraveled in a 25-pitch sixth inning, allowing four baserunners and departing with just one out.       Dylan Cease allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Friday.

      Advice: Cease was pretty great to begin the year, posting a 2.19 ERA in his first eight starts, but this makes four straight outings that have missed the quality-start threshold.       Advice: Suarez allowed a lone run in the second inning before settling in and blanking the Rays over his final three frames, allowing just one additional hit. The 34-year-old Suarez has allowed just one run over nine innings in two starts since returning to Baltimore's rotation. Overall, he's 2-0 with a 1.57 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB across 34.1 innings this year. With John Means (elbow) and Tyler Wells (elbow) both out for the year, Suarez could be in for an extended look as a starter. He's currently in line for a road matchup with Toronto in his next outing.       Albert Suárez allowed one earned run across five innings on Friday against the Rays. He allowed four hits, two walks, and struck out five in a no-decision.

      Advice: Suárez was solid in this one, keeping the Rays at bay besides for a Richie Palacios double followed by a Ben Rortvedt RBI single in the second inning. Notably, Suárez showed off a true four-pitch mix for the first time this season throwing his fastball, cutter, changeup, and curveball at least 13% of the time.       Brandon Marsh went 1-for-3 with a double, RBI and a run scored as the Phillies triumphed over the Cardinals on Friday night in Philadelphia.

      Advice: Marsh opened the scoring in the second inning as he drove in Alec Bohm with a ground ball to first base. He then smacked a one-out double in the seventh inning and raced around to score on a two-out single by Johan Rojas. Before landing on the IL, Conforto was slashing .280/.331/.490 with seven home runs and 20 RBI over 154 plate appearances.
