      Sano (knee) was pulled off his rehab assignment Thursday and returned to Anaheim, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Sano had been close to returning from his left knee injury, but he experienced a setback recently when he burned himself with a heating pad.       White Sox optioned 3B Bryan Ramos to Triple-A Charlotte.

      Advice: Ramos was activated off the 10-day IL on Saturday but will now head back to the minors. The 22-year-old was hitting just .196/.208/.239 in 15 games in the big leagues. While it wasn’t a successful start, he figures to get another chance later in the season since the White Sox are not in contention and could get value out of seeing what their younger players are capable of.
