    • ‘No timetable’ for Trea Turner (hamstring) yet
Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters Friday that Trea Turner (hamstring) remains without a definitive timetable to return.

Advice: Turner suffered a minor setback in his recovery from a left hamstring strain earlier this week when he experienced leg soreness following a high-intensity workout. He managed to resume fielding grounders and also did some light jogging prior to Friday’s game against the Cardinals, but doesn’t appear close to running the bases again, which would be his final hurdle prior to a minor league rehab assignment. It’s a frustrating situation for fantasy managers, but the Phillies can’t really afford to rush him back and risk another setback. At this point, a mid-June return seems like a best-case scenario. • Belts fourth homer in win
Bichette went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: He took Nick Nastrini deep in the fourth inning, one of three long balls for Toronto on the day. Bichette is batting .424 (14-for-33) over the last eight games, boosting his slash line on the season to .247/.297/.366 with four homers, four steals, 18 runs and 23 RBI through 50 contests. • Trea Turner ‘pulled back’ on rehab due to soreness
Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters that Trea Turner (hamstring) is dealing with soreness and he’ll be “pulled back” on his rehab.

Advice: “How long, I don’t know,” Thomson said. “I’m not really concerned at this point.” Turner is working his way back from his left hamstring strain, and he ran at a higher intensity Saturday as he attempts to make a quicker return than anticipated. It’s concerning to see, but it’s also possible this is just precautionary. A rehab assignment will assuredly be needed before he can return. Rotoworld Sunday, 10:15 am

    • Trea Turner runs at higher intensity on Saturday
Trea Turner (hamstring) was able to run at a higher intensity on Saturday as he continues to work his way back from a left hamstring strain.

Advice: If he feels alright on Sunday, he could soon progress to actually running on the bases. He’ll still need to take swings against live pitching and play in at least some simulated games before he’ll be ready to rejoin the Phillies’ lineup, but he continues to make much quicker progress than originally anticipated. • Runs at higher intensity Saturday
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that Turner (hamstring) ran at a higher intensity Saturday, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Advice: Turner could progress to running the bases as soon as the Phillies' series in San Francisco against the Giants which begins Monday. He will need to complete that step and also see live pitching before being cleared to begin a rehab assignment, but rehab games wouldn't seem to be too terribly far off if he continues moving in the right direction. • Bo Bichette collects two hits in loss to Tigers
Bo Bichette went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles as the Blue Jays fell to the Tigers at Comerica Park.

Advice: The Jays weren’t able to get anything going against Kenta Maeda in the ballgame and didn’t push a run across until there were two outs in the ninth inning. The 26-year-old shortstop’s bat has perked up in recent weeks and he’s now hitting .249/.301/.359 with three homers, 20 RBI and four stolen bases on the year. Rotoworld Friday, 6:21 pm

    • Trea Turner (hamstring) hits in cage on Friday
Trea Turner (hamstring) hit in the batting cage, took ground balls and did some short sprints on the field on Friday without any issues.

Advice: He’s scheduled to face live pitching on Saturday and do some more intense running to test out his injured hamstring. He appears to be making quicker progress in his recovery than his initial timeline and is inching closer to a minor league rehab assignment. Rotoworld Friday, 5:56 pm

    • Stays hot in Thursday's win
Bichette went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI in Thursday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: All three knocks were singles, but they continued a hot streak for Bichette that has seen him reel off multiple hits in three of the last four games and five of the last nine. Since May 8, the All-Star shortstop is slashing .380/.426/.580 with four doubles, two homers, one steal, six runs and nine RBI in 13 contests. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:41 am
