    Advice: Vaughn drove home Chicago's first run of the game with an RBI single in the third before adding a two-run shot in the fifth, boosting the team's lead to three runs. It marked the first baseman's fifth long ball in his last 10 games and he's now batting .340 in June with nine RBI and 11 runs scored.     Witt went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Dodgers.

    Advice: Witt went hitless in his first three at-bats before driving home Garret Hampson with a single in the seventh. The star shortstop would then go on to swipe his 20th bag of the season while also recording another single in the ninth, giving him his fourth multi-hit performance in his last five contests.   • Picks up 10th win
    Lugo (10-2) picked up the win over the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over six innings while striking out four.

    Advice: Lugo did a great job of working his way out of trouble for most of the contest, with the exception of the fourth inning when he allowed back-to-back hits to open the frame and also hit Jason Heyward with a pitch before eventually surrendering two runs. The right-hander would allow just two more hits over his final two innings of work, notching his 11th quality start of the season and his first this month.   • Blasts two homers Saturday
    Martinez went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs, three total RBI and two walks in Saturday's 5-1 win against the Padres.

    Advice: Martinez reached in all five of his plate appearances and registered his first multi-homer game of the season. The veteran slugger has gone deep three times in his past three games and has at least one RBI in six of his past seven contests.   • Andrew Vaughn homers again in rout of D-Backs
    Andrew Vaughn went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI Saturday in a win over the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: It’s been a fantastic June for Vaughn, even with the White Sox playing at an absolutely abhorrent level. The 26-year-old hit a two-run blast off Bryce Jarvis in the fifth, and the first baseman drove in another run with a single two innings earlier.   • Bobby Witt Jr. steals 20th base of year in victory
    Bobby Witt Jr. stole a base while going 2-for-5 in a victory for the Royals over the Dodgers on Saturday.

    Advice: Witt Jr. also drove in a run with his single in the seventh, and it gave the Royals a 6-2 cushion. The star shortstop’s theft gives him 20 on the season, and there’s a good chance he’s going to pass the 49 swipes that he picked up in 2023.   • Lugo gets 10th win after six strong vs. Dodgers
    Seth Lugo gave up two runs in six innings to get a win against the Dodgers on Saturday.

    Advice: The victory is already the 10th of the season for Lugo. The right-hander allowed a two-run single to Gavin Lux in the fourth, but outside of that he handled the Dodgers lineup without many issues. He scattered six hits allowed while walking just one and striking out four. Lugo has been excellent in 2024, and it’d be a surprise if he wasn’t an All-Star at this point.   • Goes five scoreless innings
    Flaherty (4-4) earned the win Saturday over the Astros, allowing three hits and a walk while striking out six over five scoreless innings.

    Advice: Flaherty was skipped once through the rotation while he dealt with a back injury, which he received an injection for Monday. He was good in his return, though he was limited to 73 pitches (46 strikes), as the Tigers likely didn't want to risk pushing him too hard after they built up a 10-0 lead. Flaherty is at a 3.01 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 100:11 K:BB through 77.2 innings over 13 starts this season.
