    Anthony Santander went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a two-run home run against the Blue Jays on Monday.



    Advice: The home run was Santander’s 11th of the season. His ISO is up to .228, which would be a career-high not including the shortened 2020 season. Santander is hitting just .228, but his .227 BABIP is well below his career .269 BABIP. His strikeout percentage is 18 percent, which is below his career 20 percent strikeout percentage. Santander’s power is still there and he’s just been unlucky with his average so far.

    Advice: Santander has started to look more like himself, going 9-for-32 (.281) with three homers over his last nine contests. For the year, he's slashing .218/.300/.440 with 10 homers, 30 RBI, 29 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases. Santander has been plagued by a .224 BABIP this year, so it's no surprise his overall numbers are down, but it's a reason for optimism that he'll be able to turn things around.     Advice: Santander followed Ryan Mountcastle’s homer in the first inning with his own solo blast to extend the lead. He then drew a walk in the third before scoring on a double by Kyle Stowers.
