    • Continues power surge
Santander went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Santander produced the first run of the contest with his solo shot to right field in the second inning. He's gone deep in three of his past five contests to push his season total to 12 long balls. Santander is also working on an eight-game hitting streak during which he's gone 11-for-30 (.367 average) with three homers, six RBI and seven runs. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:51 pm

    • Nick Castellanos homers, Phillies sweep Brewers
Nick Castellanos swatted a two-run homer on Wednesday, lifting the Phillies to a 2-0 victory over the Brewers.

Advice: Castellanos connected for a 402-foot blast off Brewers southpaw Aaron Ashby in the fifth inning for his eighth big fly of the season. It wound up being the lone tally for either side in a rare low-scoring showdown at Citizens Bank Park and was more than enough run support for Aaron Nola and the Phillies’ bullpen in this one. The 32-year-old corner outfielder has homered twice in this last seven contests since May 29. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:53 pm
    • Provides only offense in win
Castellanos went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Brewers.

Advice: The veteran outfielder provided the game's only offense by taking Aaron Ashby deep in the fifth inning. Castellanos is beginning to climb out of his early season hole, batting .270 (17-for-63) over his last 16 games with four of his eight homers on the season, along with 11 runs and 11 RBI. • Homers in return to majors
Suwinski went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Suwinski was recalled to the majors Tuesday after Ji Hwan Bae (wrist) was placed on the injured list and Michael Taylor on the paternity list. Suwinski immediately returned to the lineup, manning center field while hitting ninth. He accounted for the only run of the contest with a solo home run in the third inning, a positive sign after he managed only four homers across his first 49 games before being demoted to Triple-A Indianapolis on May 22. • Nick Castellanos delivers walk-off hit vs. Brewers
Nick Castellanos delivered a game-winning single in the 10th inning on Tuesday, powering the Phillies to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Brewers.

Advice: Castellanos snapped a 1-1 stalemate in extra-innings with a walk-off single to right field off Brewers reliever Joel Payamps. It was his lone hit in three at-bats, although he did draw a pair of walks in the extra-inning marathon. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:08 pm
    • Jack Suwinski homers in win over Dodgers
Jack Suwinski hit a solo home run in a win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: Suwinski was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis earlier in the day and responded with the only run of the game when he blasted a 375-foot home run off Tyler Glasnow in his first at-bat. He also struck out in his other two at-bats, and that’s a perfect encapsulation of Suwinski as a hitter. The 25-year-old had struggled to a .174/.268/.297 slash line before being demoted and was attempting to change his approach by being more aggressive in the zone to combat his high called-strike rate from 2023. There is clear fantasy upside here if Suwinski can make contact more consistently. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:50 pm

    • Lifts homer Monday
Santander went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 7-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Santander has hit safely in nine of his last 11 games, going 12-for-41 (.293) with four homers and eight RBI in that span. He continues to dig himself out of a rough start to 2024, though he's still at a .223/.301/.450 slash line over 54 contests. Santander has added 11 homers, 33 RBI, 31 runs scored, 11 doubles and a triple while seeing steady playing time in right field. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:54 am

    • Back in majors
The Pirates recalled Suwinski from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Suwinski's stint back in the minors lasted less than two weeks and he slashed just .250/.276/.429 with one home run and a 13:1 K:BB over 29 plate appearances with Indianapolis. However, the Pirates have a need in center field with Ji Hwan Bae (undisclosed) going on the 10-day injured list and Michael Taylor the paternity list. Suwinski should draw starts at least while Taylor is away but could be sent back down to the minors once the latter returns. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:36 am

    • Pirates recall Suwinski from Triple-A Indianapolis
Pirates recalled OF Jack Suwinski from Triple-A Indianapolis.

Advice: Suwinski spent a little over a week in Triple-A, but he’s back to take the place of Ji Hwan Bae, with Bae hitting the injured list. Suwinski hit just .174/.268/.297 while with Pittsburgh prior to the demotion in 2024, but showed flashes of brilliance in 2023. Still, outside of those desperate for power in NL-only formats, Suwinski should probably be left on the waiver wire. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:26 am
