    • Mookie Betts swats leadoff homer in win on Sunday
Mookie Betts swatted a leadoff home run on Sunday afternoon, helping to propel the Dodgers to victory over the visiting Rockies.

Advice: Betts didn’t waste much time in this one, crushing the third pitch that Austin Gomber threw for a 354-foot (95.8 mph EV) solo shot to give the Dodgers an early lead that they’d never relinquish. That would be the 31-year-old superstar’s only hit in four at-bats in the ballgame. For the season, Betts is now hitting a sublime .318/.412/.515 with nine homers, 32 RBI and nine stolen bases. • Pops leadoff homer Sunday
Betts went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Rockies.

Advice: The Dodgers had all the offense they needed for the win after their first at-bat, as Betts drilled Austin Gomber's first pitch over the wall in left field. Prior to Sunday, Betts had gone 0-for-13 over the last three games, which was his longest slump of the season. That's a testament to his consistency and his elite skills as the tone-setter atop the Dodgers' lineup. Betts is slashing .318/.412/.515 with nine homers, 32 RBI, 43 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 14 doubles and three triples over 60 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:30 pm

    • Perfect at plate Thursday
Lindor went 4-for-4 with a home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-2 win against Arizona.

Advice: Lindor suffered a swollen finger on a bunt attempt during a game Tuesday, but the issue hasn't caused him to miss any time and certainly didn't seem to impact his swing Thursday. The shortstop collected his second four-hit game of the season, which was highlighted by a 431-foot solo homer in the third inning. Lindor is still batting just .225 on the campaign, but he's hit safely in nine straight contests and has posted a .375 batting average, two homers, four doubles and six RBI over that span. • Francisco Lindor goes 4-for-4 with homer and steal
Francisco Lindor went 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and a stolen base in a 3-2 win Thursday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Fantasy managers have to be thrilled seeing this one, as Lindor has been a massive disappointment a third of the way through 2024. The homer is the ninth of the season, and the stolen base gives the 30-year-old seven swipes through 2024. Lindor has gotten off to poor starts before only to finish hot, and there’s reason to believe that can happen again. It doesn’t make the previous two months any less frustrating, however. • Francisco Lindor reaches twice in loss to Dodgers
Francisco Lindor went 1-for-4 with a run scored on Wednesday in the Mets’ loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Lindor showed zero ill effects, reaching base safely in two of his four plate appearances less than 24 hours after suffering a left index finger contusion during Tuesday’s doubleheader. It doesn’t appear that he’s going to wind up missing any time moving forward. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:29 pm
    • Mookie Betts plays second for first time in weeks
The Dodgers have Mookie Betts at second base and Miguel Rojas at shortstop in Wednesday’s game against the Mets.

Advice: It’s Betts’ first start at second base in exactly a month, as the Dodgers had been leaving him at shortstop when playing Rojas over Gavin Lux against lefties. This is how they did it in April before making Betts a permanent shortstop in recent weeks. Rotoworld Wednesday, 10:29 am

    • Dealing with swollen finger
X-rays on Lindor's left index finger came back negative after he injured it on a bunt attempt during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: Despite injuring his finger during the first game of Tuesday's action, Lindor was still able to play in the nightcap and go 1-for-4. The 30-year-old shortstop is dealing with a bit of swelling in his finger, but the Mets don't currently have a backup middle infielder on their 26-man roster -- complicating any plans to give Lindor time off to heal. • Francisco Lindor dealing with left finger injury
Francisco Lindor is dealing with a left index finger contusion.

Advice: The positive news here is that X-rays came back negative on Lindor’s finger after he hurt it attempting a bunt during Tuesday’s doubleheader against the Dodgers. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get a couple days off for the swelling to subside. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:37 pm
    • Francisco Lindor goes deep in loss to Dodgers
Francisco Lindor walloped a two-run homer in the Mets’ extra-inning loss to the Dodgers in the front-end of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: Lindor’s two-run tater off Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow represented New York’s lone runs of the contest as they squandered a prime opportunity for a walk-off victory in the ninth inning by wasting a bases-loaded, one-out situation. It was his eighth long ball of the season and lone hit in five at-bats in the extra-inning marathon. Rotoworld Tuesday, 4:01 pm
