    Giants manager Bob Melvin told reporters Monday that Tom Murphy (knee) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

    Advice: Murphy has not been able to stay healthy for much of his career, and unfortunately, the backstop will miss a considerable amount of time with his knee sprain.   • Edward Olivares’ grand slam lifts PIT over LAA
    Edward Olivares went 2-for-4 with a home run, double and four RBI in Monday’s 4-1 win over the Angels.

    Advice: Olivares was responsible for all of Pittsburgh’s runs when he hit a grand slam off Tyler Anderson in the third inning. The 28-year-old now has three hits in his past two games after going hitless in his four previous games.     Greene went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Guardians.

    Advice: Greene got Detroit on the board early, belting a leadoff home run against Triston McKenzie in the top of the first inning. However, he and his teammates went quiet from there. Fantasy managers won't mind too much, as the young outfielder now has four home runs over his last seven games, which has pushed him up to nine long balls for the season.     Riley Greene went X-for-X with a home run on the first pitch of the game against the Guardians on Monday.

    Advice: Greene didn’t wait long to get the Tigers on the board, unfortunately for Detroit, it was the only run of the game. The 23-year-old’s solo shot went 424 feet to deep right center field and he now has nine home runs on the season. The only other players with more home runs in baseball this season?     José Ramírez went 1-for-4 with a home run in Monday’s 2-1 win over the Tigers.

    Advice: Ramírez’s go-ahead home run came in the sixth inning as it hugged the right side of the diamond and hit the foul pole. It was a much-needed run for Cleveland who are now 23-12 through its first 35 games of the season — the team’s best start since 2011.     Advice: Burger is back after spending just under three weeks on the injured list with a left oblique strain. He returns to a .228/.281/.421 slash with three homers and 15 RBI in 16 games.     Advice: After being called up Saturday, Bride went 1-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 12-3 win over the Athletics. With Jake Burger (oblique) returning from the 10-day injured list Monday, Bride was the odd man out on the major-league roster and he'll head back to Jacksonville.     Advice: As anticipated, Burger is back with the big club after missing the last few weeks rehabbing from a left intercostal strain.
