• Another multi-hit game
Abreu went 3-for-4 with a walk, double, triple, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-0 win over San Francisco.

Advice: Abreu is swinging a productive bat; this was his fifth multi-hit game over the last 10 contests, during which he's 18-for-41 with nine extra-base hits, 10 RBI and eight runs scored. Much of that production has come as the cleanup batter, a spot that had been filled by Triston Casas prior to the oblique injury that landed him on the 60-day injured list. • Ryan Feltner solid in no-decision against Marlins
Ryan Feltner allowed three runs on five hits in eight innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: Feltner allowed just one extra-base hit and no walks while striking out three. While the overall line is good, the Marlins made a lot of contact with Feltner registering just a 13 percent whiff rate and 21 percent CSW on the day. He benefited a lot from facing a depleted Marlins lineup and that’s exactly why he was streamed in most leagues anyway. He now has a 5.13 ERA on the season and remains a risky but potential start against the Pirates this weekend. Rotoworld 12 minutes ago

  • Jon Gray allowed one run over 8 IP vs. Nationals
Jon Gray allowed one earned run on three hits over eight innings in the Rangers’ win over the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Gray’s lone run allowed came in the first inning after Luis Garcia drove in C.J. Abrams to give the Nats their first and only lead on the night. Gray only notched three strikeouts in this one, but eight strong frames proved to be more than enough for the Rangers to get the win over a Nats team that was held to just three hits. Gray is now 1-1 with a 2.48 ERA on the season. He’ll look to earn his second win of the season on Sunday against the Royals. Rotoworld 13 minutes ago

  • Promotion imminent
Munoz will be promoted from Triple-A Jacksonville to start Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Munoz allowed two runs and struck out seven batters across five innings during his first MLB start April 20 against the Cubs. He hasn't found much success in the minors, however, posting an 8.62 ERA and 1.84 WHIP across 15.2 frames. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago

  • Fans career-high 14 in revenge game
Flaherty came away with a no-decision in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, scattering two hits and a walk over 6.2 scoreless innings in a 2-1 loss. He struck out 14.

Advice: Facing the team he spent the first six-plus seasons of his career with, the 28-year-old right-hander made St. Louis regret letting him go. His 14 strikeouts were a career high, topping the 13 he reached twice in 2018, and he tied Tyler Glasnow for the most in a start this season. Flaherty also fanned the first seven batters he faced, tying the AL record most recently matched by Luis Castillo in 2022. Flaherty generated an eye-popping 24 swinging strikes among his 93 pitches, and he was in line for his first win of the season before Shelby Miller blew the save in the ninth. Flaherty is now second in the majors in strikeouts this season with 50, just behind Glasnow's 53, and he'll take a 4.00 ERA and 1.03 WHIP into his next outing, which is scheduled to come early next week in Cleveland. • Jacob Webb gets save for Orioles
Jacob Webb recorded his first save of the season, securing a 4-2 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Since Craig Kimbrel hurt his back, it’s now been Daniel Coloumbe and Jacob Webb who have gotten the two saves for the Orioles. Webb was brought in to face Aaron Judge as the tying run in the eighth inning, and he struck out the big outfielder. He then pitched a perfect ninth with two more strikeouts. At this point, we have no idea how long Kimbrel will be out, but it isn’t likely to be long since he’s not being placed on the IL and he threw before the game on Tuesday. The Orioles are clearly planning to mix and match their bullpen until Kimbrel returns. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

  • Riley Greene homers in both games of doubleheader
Riley Greene went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI to lead the Tigers to an 11-6 win over the Cardinals in the second game of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: Greene homered in both games of Tuesday’s twin bill at Comerica Park and is now up to seven round-trippers on the season. The 23-year-old former top prospect bashed a seventh-inning solo shot off reliever Giovanny Gallegos in the nightcap affair after taking veteran Kyle Gibson deep in the front end of the doubleheader. He’s been a certifiable on-base machine this season and appears to be finally putting it all together at the dish after struggling to stay healthy the last few years. Rotoworld 49 minutes ago

  • Wenceel Pérez launches two homers in Tigers’ win
Wenceel Pérez homered from both sides of the plate in the Tigers’ lopsided win over the Cardinals in the nightcap of Tuesday’s twin bill.

Advice: Pérez accomplished the extremely rare feat by taking southpaw Steven Matz deep in the second inning before homering off righty reliever Ryan Fernandez a couple frames later. It was his firs career multi-homer effort. The 24-year-old rookie infielder has held his own so far in a samll sample, batting .302 (13-for-43) with three homers and two steals in 15 games. • Matt Manning strikes out seven in no-decision
Matt Manning gave up four runs over 4 2/3 innings on Tuesday in a no-decision against the Cardinals.

Advice: Manning heads back to Triple-A Toledo after striking out seven batters and only issuing two walks in a spot start against the Cardinals. He took the ball for the second game of Tuesday’s doubleheader and wasn’t able to stick around long enough to collect a win. Rotoworld 51 minutes ago
