    • Eloy Jiménez to start rehab assignment next week
Eloy Jiménez (hamstring) will begin a minor league rehab assignment next week.

Advice: The oft-injured slugger has been out since mid-May with a left hamstring strain and is expected to be sidelined for at least a couple additional weeks. The 27-year-old has struggled to a .668 OPS with five homers in 146 plate appearances this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:30 pm

    • Rehab assignment on tap
Manager Pedro Grifol said Thursday that Jimenez (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment next week, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Advice: Jimenez was initially given a one-month return timeline when he landed on the IL on May 22 with a left hamstring strain, but he appears to already be approaching a return to game action. It's unclear exactly when the 27-year-old will head to the minors or how long he'll remain there, but the White Sox will likely be eager to return him to their lineup as soon as possible given their offense's poor performance to start the year. • George Springer is back to 5th in Blue Jays lineup
George Springer is moving back up the Blue Jays lineup, starting in right field and batting 5th against the Orioles on Thursday.

Advice: Springer started the season as the lead-off hitter and was moved down as far as eighth in the order as he struggled to start the year. The veteran is now 11-for-40 (.275) over his last 12 games with two home runs, five RBI, and ten runs scored. There were no major red flags in his profile at the start of the season, so it seems likely that Springer can work his way back up to the top of the lineup. At 34 years old, he may be in the downward stage of his career, but he should retain enough value to be rostered in all formats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:47 am
    • Out against left-hander
Mullins is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest in Toronto.

Advice: The last time Mullins made a start against a lefty came back on May 15 against Yusei Kikuchi. Kikuchi is on the mound again for Thursday's tilt, but Mullins will begin the series finale on the bench. Colton Cowser will patrol center field Thursday while Austin Hays handles left field. • Collects 12th steal
Mullins went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Mullins has seen his playing time dip amid his prolonged struggles at the plate. He's gone just 9-for-73 (.123) with a 3:24 BB:K over 26 contests since the start of May, though he has managed to pick up six steals in that span despite his troubles getting on base. Mullins is slashing a meager .178/.225/.314 with 12 steals, six home runs, 22 RBI and 23 runs scored over 182 plate appearances this year. Austin Hays and Colton Cowser have been the main players to benefit from Mullins' decreased playing time, and the Orioles aren't short on prospects to call up if they choose to mix up the composition of outfielders on their roster. • Drives in five Wednesday
Judge went 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk and five RBI in Wednesday's 9-5 win against Minnesota.

Advice: Judge broke the game open in the fifth inning, lacing a bases-loaded triple to left field to give New York a 7-0 lead. It was the slugger's first triple since 2019 and just the fifth of his career as a big-leaguer. Judge had already plated a run with a groundout in the first inning, and he added an RBI with a bases-loaded walk in the sixth frame to give him his first five-RBI performance of the campaign. He now ranks second in the majors with 54 runs batted in this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:46 pm
    • Cedric Mullins lines out twice in loss
Making his first start in three days, Cedric Mullins went 0-for-3 with a walk Wednesday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: That sounds bad, but it was actually a really encouraging night for Mullins. Aside from his strikeout, his two at-bats produced liners up the middle at 103 and 97 mph. Unfortunately, those balls were hit right at the shortstop and center fielder, respectively, but in the grand scheme of things, that doesn’t matter much. Alas, Mullins will probably head back to the bench Thursday with the Orioles facing a left-hander for the first time in 10 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:18 pm
    • Aaron Judge drives in five runs as Yanks top Twins
Aaron Judge tripled, walked and drove in five runs on Wednesday night, propelling the Yankees to a 9-5 victory over the Twins.

Advice: Judge got the scoring started in the ballgame with a run-scoring ground out off of Chris Paddack in the opening inning. He then smacked a bases-clearing three-run triple off of Diego Castillo in the fifth then scored on a sacrifice fly by Alex Verdugo. He also walked with the bases loaded in the sixth inning to force in another run that extended the Bombers’ lead to 9-2. The 32-year-old superstar is now hitting a healthy .293/.423/.667 with 21 homers, 54 RBI and four stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:46 pm
    • Belts fifth homer
Springer went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Orioles.

Advice: He supplied the Blue Jays' only offense in a 10-1 rout by taking Corbin Burnes deep in the seventh inning. Springer appears to be turning things around after his rough start to the season -- he's hit safely in seven of the last eight games, batting .385 (10-for-26) with two of his five homers on the year and an impressive 7:1 BB:K.
