    • Tyler Freeman gets a day off on Thursday
Tyler Freeman is not in the Guardians’ lineup on Thursday against the Royals.

Advice: It’s just a routine day off for the 25-year-old who continues to start regularly in center field for the Guardians. Freeman has moved back down in the lineup with both Stevan Kwan and Andres Gimenez back, which will hurt his counting stats, but he does have five home runs and eight steals on the year, so he remains valuable in deeper formats. • Getting Thursday off
Freeman is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Freeman had been in line to receive Wednesday's game off before that contest was postponed due to inclement weather, but he'll see his streak of 20 consecutive starts come to an official end Thursday. Though he's moved out of the leadoff spot since the Guardians brought back Steven Kwan from the injured list Friday, Freeman has continued to thrive with four hits -- including a game-winning home run Tuesday -- and a stolen base over his last four starts. Utility man Daniel Schneemann will get the nod in center field Thursday in Freeman's stead. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:23 am

    • Plates two Wednesday
Paredes went 2-for-4 with two RBI doubles and a run during Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Paredes did his damage early, tagging Braxton Garrett for RBI doubles in the first and third innings. With the pair of doubles, Paredes extended his hit streak to seven games. During that stretch, Paredes is batting .310 with eight RBI and five runs scored. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:02 pm

    • Isaac Paredes plates three runs to lead Rays
Isaac Paredes went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three RBI on Wednesday night, propelling the Rays to a 5-3 victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Paredes opened the scoring in the contest with a two-run single off of Braxton Garrett in the opening inning and then scored on an RBI double off the bat of Josh Lowe. He also plated Brandon Lowe with an RBI double in the third inning that extended the Rays’ lead to 5-2. The 25-year-old is having a terrific season in the middle of the Rays’ lineup — slashing .298/.383/.498 with 10 homers and 37 RBI. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:04 pm

    • Taking seat Wednesday
Freeman is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Though he's moved out of the leadoff spot since the Guardians brought back Steven Kwan from the injured list Friday, Freeman has continued to thrive with four hits -- including a game-winning home run Tuesday -- and a stolen base over his last four games. Utility man Daniel Schneemann will get the nod in center field Wednesday in what looks to be little more than a maintenance day for Freeman, who had started in each of Cleveland's last 20 games. • Hits game-tying homer
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Freeman's homer tied the game at 5-5 in the seventh inning. He hit eighth Tuesday, the lowest he's been in the order since May 9, though it was expected he'd see less time in the top-third of the lineup following Steven Kwan's return from a hamstring injury. Freeman is batting a respectable .256 over his last 20 games, though his season average remains at .219 with a .666 OPS, five homers, 24 RBI, 33 runs scored and eight stolen bases through 54 contests. • Six-game hitting streak
Paredes went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored Tuesday against the Marlins.

Advice: Paredes delivered a two-RBI single in the fifth inning and came around to score in the same frame. He extended his hitting streak to six games with the performance, driving in five and scoring four runs in that span. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:47 pm

    • Tyler Freeman homers in win over Royals
Tyler Freeman went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: Freeman greeted Seth Lugo in the sixth inning with a 402-foot shot that left the bat at 102.3 mph. It was his fifth home run on the season, and now has 24 RBI to go along with a .219/.308/.358 slash line. Freeman has been trending up in recent weeks but with the renewed health fo Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez, Freeman has moved back down to the bottom third of the lineup, which will limit his opportunities for runs and RBI. • Not yet swinging
Muncy (oblique) said Sunday he's been shut down from swinging for the past 7-to-10 days after he felt a "twinge" around his rib cage, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old landed on the injured list in mid-May with the oblique strain and doesn't appear to have made significant progress in his recovery. Per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, Muncy was able to field groundballs Sunday but is shut down from most baseball activities, so he's likely not particularly close to returning from the 10-day injured list.
