• Mike Clevinger doesn’t finish five innings in loss
Mike Clevinger allowed three earned runs in 4 ⅔ innings in a loss to the Yankees on Friday. He also walked two and struck out five.

Advice: Clevinger ran into the buzzsaw that is Aaron Judge who took him deep in the first and then fell victim to the middle of the Yankees lineup in a two-run fourth inning. Such is life for the modern version of Clevinger who will take a 5.56 ERA into his next start against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago
  • Tommy Pham has three hits in loss to Yankees
Tommy Pham went 3-for-5 on Friday with a double and a run scored.

Advice: Pham has been scalding hot since being activated by the White Sox with a .338 average and .866 OPS. All he’s ever done is hit and will have every opportunity to do so as he leads off and plays every day for this dismal White Sox team. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

  • Nick Fortes goes 3-for-3, homers in win
Nick Fortes went 3-for-3 with a three-run homer and three runs scored against the Mets on Friday.

Advice: The home run was just Fortes’ second in what’s been a disastrous start to the season. He’s had some intriguing batted ball metrics in the past, but this was just his second barrel of the season. He’s hard to trust even in two-catcher formats. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago

  • Dylan Moore clubs solo homer in loss to Orioles
Dylan Moore clubbed his fourth home run of the season on Friday night, but it wasn’t enough to power the Mariners past the Orioles in Baltimore.

Advice: Moore led off the game by smacking the first pitch thrown by John Means for a double into left field. He then came around to score the game’s first run on an RBI single off the bat of Mitch Garver. The versatile 31-year-old then tattooed a 405-foot (104.3 mph EV) solo shot in the fifth inning that pulled the M’s to within three runs at 5-2. Moore finished the night 2-for-4 and is now hitting .221/.314/.433 to go with four homers, 14 RBI and six stolen bases through his first 35 games. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago

  • Falls to Phillies
Irvin (2-4) took the loss Friday against the Phillies, allowing four runs on five hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Irvin got off to a shaky start Friday, allowing all four runs over his first three innings. The 27-year-old right-hander had allowed just four earned runs in his previous three starts (18 innings), striking out 13 while issuing just one walk in that span. Overall, Irvin has a solid 3.91 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP and 38:9 K:BB over nine starts (50.2 innings) this season. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Twins in his next outing. • Grabs third save
Hoffman earned the save in Friday's 4-2 win over the Nationals, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: After Jose Alvarado finished the eighth inning, the Phillies turned to Hoffman in the ninth. The right-hander worked around Joey Gallo's one-out double, closing out the 4-2 victory for his third save of the season -- his first since April 30. Hoffman's been sharp this year, pitching to a 0.90 ERA with a 0.95 WHIP and 27:7 K:BB over 20 innings. While Alvarado is still likely Philly's preferred ninth-inning option, Hoffman should see the occasional save chance depending on matchups. Rotowire.com 54 minutes ago

  • Exits with dizziness
D'Arnaud was removed from Friday's game against San Diego due to dizziness.

Advice: D'Arnaud took a foul ball off his facemask in the fifth inning and did not take the field for the sixth. Atlanta will likely evaluate him for a possible concussion, and an update on his status should come after Friday's contest. Rotowire.com Today, 6:19 pm

  • Brandon Marsh delivers RBI double in win over Nats
Brandon Marsh walked and delivered an RBI double on Friday night, helping to lead the Phillies to a 4-2 victory over the visiting Nationals.

Advice: Marsh drew a walk off of Jake Irvin to lead off the second inning and ultimately came around to score on a wild pitch. He then smacked a run-scoring double off of Irvin in the third inning that extended the Phillies’ advantage to 4-1. On the season, the 26-year-old outfielder is now hitting .248/.309/.429 with six homers, 23 RBI and seven stolen bases through his first 40 games. Rotoworld Today, 6:00 pm

  • Jeff Hoffman slams door on Nationals in ninth
Jeff Hoffman slammed the door on the Nationals in the ninth inning on Friday evening, protecting a two-run lead to earn his third save of the season.

Advice: Jose Alvarado came on to get the final two outs in the eighth inning of this one, leaving Hoffman to clean things up in the ninth. He did allow a one-out double to Joey Gallo that brought the tying run to the dish, but was able to get Ildemaro Vargas on a pop up to second base and Jesse Winker on a fly ball to right field to end it. Hoffman has been outstanding out of the Phillies’ bullpen this season, registering a 0.90 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and a 27/7 K/BB ratio across 19 1/3 innings. Rotoworld Today, 6:00 pm
