    • Jurickson Profar (knee) not in lineup on Saturday
Jurickson Profar (knee) is not in the Padres’ starting lineup for Saturday night’s matchup against the Brewers.

Advice: The 31-year-old outfielder aggravated his left knee injury during Friday’s battle against the Brewers. The good news is that he hasn’t been placed on the injured list. Profar has been playing through the knee issue for a while now and believes that he’ll be able to return to the lineup for Sunday’s series finale. He’s considered day-to-day. • Kyle Tucker (shin) hasn’t resumed baseball activity
MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart reports Kyle Tucker (shin) has yet to resume baseball activities.

Advice: Tucker is still walking with a limp and has yet to resume any baseball activities at this juncture. There was some optimism earlier this week that he was getting close, but clearly is still going to need some extra time to recover. There isn’t a definitive timeline for his return to Houston’s lineup at this point. He’s been out since early June recovering from a shin contusion. It’s fair to wonder if he’s dealing with something more serious like a hairline fracture at this point. There should be some clarity on his status at some point in the near future. • Goes deep again
Santander went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's loss to Houston.

Advice: Santander knocked an RBI single in the third inning before capping off Baltimore's seven-run eighth with a two-run shot. He entered June with nine homers and a .712 OPS through 51 games. Since then, he's caught fire; Santander has ripped 11 home runs while producing a 1.090 OPS in 20 June contests. Of those 11 long balls, six have come in his last seven games. Santander is now slashing .237/.309/.515 with 34 extra-base hits and 51 RBI this season. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:50 am

    • Jurickson Profar dealing with left knee issue
Jurickson Profar was removed from Friday’s game against the Brewers with left knee patellar tendinitis.

Advice: Profar has been playing through patellar tendinitis in his left knee and appears to have re-aggravated the issue during Friday’s contest against the Brewers. The 31-year-old was lifted for a pinch-runner in the seventh inning and there’s wasn’t much of an update on his status following the contest. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get a couple days off this weekend to rest and recover, so fantasy managers should be prepared. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:10 am
    • Hobbled Jurickson Profar pulled for pinch-runner
Jurickson Profar was lifted for a pinch-runner in the seventh inning Friday against the Brewers.

Advice: This probably wasn’t a move the Padres would have made unless Profar’s knee was acting up again. José Azocar ran for him in the game against the Brewers. Rotoworld Friday, 9:36 pm
    • May have aggravated knee issue
Profar (knee) was removed for a pinch runner in the seventh inning of Friday's game against the Brewers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Profar dealt with a knee injury earlier in June, and he didn't appear to be running at full strength to begin Friday's game. As a result, the Padres replaced him after a one-out double with the score tied 5-5 in the seventh. Profar could end up getting additional time off this weekend. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:19 pm
    • Smacks 10th homer
Ramos went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 6-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: The outfielder has been on a power surge with four homers over his last seven games, and he's added 11 RBI in that span. Ramos leads the Giants with 10 long balls this season, and every other player on the team with at least five homers has played in a minimum of 50 games compared to his 39. Ramos has added a .307/.382/.553 slash line with 35 RBI, 17 runs scored, one stolen base and seven doubles across 170 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:18 am

    • Tallies three hits Thursday
Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a double and a run Thursday in a 5-3 win against Colorado.

Advice: Hernandez departed in the seventh inning of Wednesday's matchup between the clubs, but manager Dave Roberts indicated afterward that the early exit was simply for rest reasons, and the outfielder's inclusion in Thursday's lineup seems to validate that claim. Hernandez certainly didn't appear bothered by any issues in the finale of the four-game set, as he recorded his fourth three-hit performance of the campaign. He's been swinging a hot bat over the past two weeks, slashing .321/.387/.732 with six homers, 16 RBI, 10 runs and a stolen base over his past 14 games. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:40 am
    • Three hits, three RBI in win
Donovan went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Thursday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Donovan continued to rake Thursday, posting his fourth three-hit game of the campaign and his third multi-hit performance in his last four contests. The outfielder's two-run blast in the first inning gave the Cardinals an early 3-0 lead, while his two-out, RBI single in the fifth added what would prove to be a pivotal insurance run. Donovan is up to seven long balls on the season, with three coming this month and two coming over his last three games. He's batting .299 in June with 11 RBI and seven runs scored.
